Come on guys. Gus just needs 4-5 more years and he'll get us to .500. BELIEVE!!!
Tweet from Rick Ballou (@Ballou1010xl) - Gus was as upset as I've ever seen him, this loss clearly bothers him. #Jaguars

"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Per Mark Long, Bradley "ripped into" the team in the locker room, with the message being that "enough is enough". Sounds more like a coach who knows he's in deep dookie than a coach who expects to be fired on the way home.

Quote:Coughlin would have cut half his team and instilled the fear of God in the survivors by this point.Look you can't compare apples and oranges. You can't compare a real coach to a heaping pile of horse manure.
If he gets fired soon, it would likely be after the London game. It gives the interim head coach the bye week to evaluate the staff and implement new wrinkles into the scheme.
Quote:Yep. He's broken: As he should be. It was a really bad loss and our schedule set up nicely over these 3 weeks to take the reigns of the division. We just aren't good enough as a team. Quote:What do you mean "enough is enough"? I think he saw that play where the Jags player just turned around and started blocking the Bucs player, WHEN THE BUCS PLAYER HAD THE BALL AND WAS RUNNING RIGHT TOWARDS THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:I doubt that happens.Let's look at what happened today: 1. Boneheaded coaching decision to play a pitch to the fifth-string running back results in a fumble that essentially cost us the game. 2. Boneheaded penalties, including a second 12-man penalty on the defense in as many weeks, among other ridiculous mental breakdowns. 3. A second straight week of miserable kicking, with Myers sending a kickoff out of bounds and an onside attempt ten yards ahead of the closest Jaguar. 4. Apathetic play late in the game as the team clearly stopped trying midway through the fourth quarter. 5. Apathetic coaching as Bradley was content to let the Bucs run down the clock rather than trying to save time. 6. A locker room implosion after the game. Combine this with the dismantling at the hands of the Patriots, the gift-wrapping of a game to Indy and the message before the season that this is a team ready to compete, and you have the recipe for an in-season firing. Today might be the final straw. Probably won't, but a man can dream, can't he?
"Turning off the soft serve machine" and "Sunshine Pumpers" are wonderful descriptions of what's wrong here. A coach who is perceived to be weak and pacifying players with false positives and an accompanying PR machine that continually says "Wait for it,.... wait for it,.... wait for it..... it will eventually get better..." every time someone questions the coach.
I can't see him coming back after this loss. I think faith has been irrevocably lost. |
