He just might be too nice of a guy to be any kind of good HC. I have always heard Tony Dungy was too nice of a HC too, but he did have PM for all those years, and he got fired from Tampa.

It's too late IMO...yelling and screaming does nothing at this point.  It's not Gus's personality.  It's fake.  He's not a good leader, period.  Nice guy, bad coach.

Marks is really the only good one he has gotten. We can pretend like Thomas will be good, but it isn't proven yet. Gerhorse has been a bust. Beadles has been a bust.

O'Halloran is suggesting that Gus should reassign/fire Babich and take over as D-coordinator. Couldn't hurt at this point if we're stuck with Bradley.

Won't change the fact that his in-game coaching is a joke. He has no feel for coaching in the moment and it shows by the losses that are piling up.

I also think House is doing pretty well for what he was brought in (up until the injury unfortunately). I mean, he's no shutdown corner but he has definitely held his own when he was thrown to.

Why didn't you show fire and brimstone much earlier in your HC career when things were looking just as bad as in today's game? I'm talking about some of those winnable games that the Jags played and looked so unprepared in?

Arob running wide open on two occasions and Bortles misses him. The first time for a give me TD. The second time ending in an interception because Bortles forces a pass to Lewis.


Little things like this are the difference between a win and a loss.

I agree. The D and S/Ts failed today. It makes those shortcomings that much more glaring though in a game lost by a TD.

I understood the Gerhart signing, but thought the Beadles signing was really bad.  His free agent signings have left a lot to be desired.

In his presser GB says that these thing (bad plays) "aren't characteristic of us."  How can he say that when the losing culture is the Jaguars right now?  There is no established winning trend or culture.  Everything points to him, this team (players and coaches) are flat out sloppy at times.
