The Giant Fire Gus & Dave Thread (MERGED)

When you compare any of the three on any level it becomes painfully obvious Caldwell has managed to put together a worse roster than Gene or Shack!

You can call for Gus head all you want but the problem starts and ends with Caldwell he has failed at every level as a GM.

We can change coaches but that's as they say just a different shade of lipstick on the pig. This team is void of talent from top to bottom.

I feel that with regards to talent on this team, the Jags actually have some really decent players in Bortles, A-Rob, Burns, Yeldon, Marks, Poz, and Walters to name a few, but the coaching and discipline for this team is nowhere to be found. After today's game, can we all finally admit that Gus was a bad hire and that Shad and Caldwell made a mistake? in watching Gus over these last few seasons, he doesn't possess the self-confidence to lead this team to a championship. Gus is a real nice guy and a good DC, but he's simply not head-coaching material. We keep seeing the same stupid mistakes every week, with no consistent improvement from this team.

I believe that our new head-coach next season will have a lot of talent already to build off of, and it should be an easy transition as long as he brings the discipline. I'm hoping it'll be either Sean Peyton or Nick Saban. Either of those two guys would turn this team around in one season and have us in contention.

Eric, you need to check the purity of the water in your bunker. It appears you have Legionnaire's Disease.

Wow now Khan is bad...an owner for 3 years and he sucks too. If you all hate things so bad why don't you quit posting on this NFL team website that sucks so much and go to the Hello Kitty website Love

This is a credibility losing post.

Not at all no one Is denying Gene and Shack failed to field a winning team. doesn't change the reality Caldwell is failing at every level with an owner that is willing to open the wallet.

This roster isn't even competitive.

Bring back shack. Just don't let him draft the first rounders.

Ummmm, except for the Pats game they've been very competitive.

Time will tell but you can sit here all day and tell me this team has talent I don't see it anywhere it's void of talent at all levels.

Caldwell will get his next coach my bet is nothing will change.

No, Eric just has an agenda.

With the Bucs winning, they're guaranteed to stay in mediocrity with Lovie Smith, and with a Jags loss we're one step closer to firing Gus and hiring a coach like Sean Payton, and securing ourselves a high draft pick for next season. The teams both lost today, Bucs fans lost today, but Jags fans win!!

No we haven't we hung around a Matt hassleback lead colts, a Winson lead bucs team that's not competitive that's losing to trash.

We've got playmakers on offense: Bortles, A-Rob, Hurns and Thomas. Caldwell gets the credit for that.  We need playmakers on defense.
