New Head Coach

Quote:Wouldn't mind Smith coming back to Jax. Didn't want to see him go to Atl to begin with.
He's a terrible coach. Talk about making bone head coaching mistakes during the game.

Miami is gonna throw a ton of money at Payton. Not sure who is really out there yet.

Should've tried for Harbaugh.

Steve Sarkesian is available.

Khan has got to beat Miami to the punch when this thing plays out.

Finish the season with Marrone. Then go hard after Sean Payton if he is available. If not him then maybe Josh McDaniels.

Would much rather have an offensive guy then a defensive guy.

Quote:I was never convinced that Payton was really that good of a coach, but at this point, I'd let my mom coach the team over Gus, so lets get him!

Remember how far off the cliff they fell when he was suspended for one year?

Yeah, he's a pretty good coach...  If it was my money, I'd make him the highest paid coach in the NFL if the saints were stupid enough to fire him...

How about Scott Linehan?

Heck, if the offense keeps playing fairly well maybe it's just Olson with a top notch OC.

A guy who's name can be substituted with moron isn't a good fit for this organization at this stage IMO. Give him the interim though and see if he can pull off a miracle.

Time to bring up the Cowher has a house in Jax Beach thing again?

If Baltimore continues to lose, is it possible that John Harbaugh could get fired? If so, he should be the number one target.

Good God there are some terrible candidates being thrown around in here. Josh McDaniels? The guy who traded away all of his star players and drafted Tim Tebow? Linehan? The guy was terrible in St. Louis. I don't know why everyone is so against coordinators. Atlanta went with a defensive coordinator from Seattle who was miles better than Gus and look how that's working for them. It's about philosophy, not about name recognition. I am so tired of this boring bend but don't break defensive philosophy where we line up and don't even try to scheme against anyone. This is what is killing us more than anything
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

You know, most NFL coaches have a rough go in their first HC job. Getting a guy who's already been around the block once could be a nice find.

No one is asking McDaniels to be the GM.

So just rehire Gus?

Finding the right HC for the Jags will not be an easy endeavor, but finding a better HC then GB won't be difficult at all.

We want more!!!!!!!!!!

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
