Quote:- Bortles

- Yeldon

- Walters

- AR15 and Hurns

- Julius is back

- At least we are not the Texans

I sure hope we can say that again next week. That's positive.

We got a pretty good one in Bortles. That itself is, even without the WRs, is a blessing.

Quote:Bortles has NOTHING to be ashamed of. He played well. Over 300 yds, 4 TDs? Bortles is the real deal.
And around 70% with 9.2ypa

A Jags QB threw 4 TD passes in a game for the first time in a long time.

I can't remember when the last time that happened was.

LOL, you  beat me to it my 1 minute...

But seriously, Mariotta looked really bad today...  I was flipping back and forth between our game and the tacks game.  He's not as impressive as some tack fans wish he was...

This game was lost due to two reasons

1) Grant Turnover (Not bortles one, bortles recovered back)

2) Special teams. If special teams didn't give bucs the field position, they wouldn't have scored on some possessions. I think Anger is good in kicking too much distance but the hang time is not there and that gives the other team to recover well and return well.

Defense little bit reason, but overall those are the two top reasons we lost today.

I didn't see any of that game, but I figure it looked about like the Jags/clots game last Sunday since the score was very similar.

I am glad that the tacks lost too.

So are DCs figuring Mariota out already?

I watched the entire game today and I am positive I would rather have BB5 the JW as my QB.

Yes, they just watch film on Kaepernick.

It's amazing. Bortles throws four TDs, and people are upset that he didn't throw five.

Of all the players on this team, Bortles is the one who has shown steady progress. He's not where he needs to be yet, but we've seen enough signs to know that he can get there.

Four TDs should be enough for ANY NFL team to win.

Bortles is the man. It's nice to have a QB for once.

Now if we could just get a competent HC in there to get the most out of the talent that the Jags do have.

Bortles is that dude. When we got down 20-7. I was in stadium telling Bucs fans it's not over. We bout to score right here in this 2 min offense wit Blake. Once Grant fumbled we lost momentum. Blake, Arob, Hurns and Yeldon on O I like what I saw. JT was limited and if Lee can ever play our O has a bright future.

Our offense has a bright future with just Bortles, Robinson, and Hurns. The rest is just added benefit.

Quote:Bortles played 'ok'. The WR's were the only highlight in the game. Even Thomas was getting open. Bortles even though he is showing some promise, still looked ok today. But border line bad.
Pretty sure Bortles missing a couple receivers doesn't make his game borderline bad! Good bet EVERY qb playing today did it at least twice. But how many of them put up 4 touchdowns?
