Quote:Why on earth does Baylor "deserve" to be ranked higher than Ohio State?Baylor is beating ranked teams and plays a real schedule...they deserve to jump a team who gets fat on Purdue and SDSU!!! That Baylor team is legit. Watched them four times this year and came away impressed each time. It's not even just Petty or Seastrunk, those WRs *will* be playing on Sundays(especially Goodley).
Honest question, is it Ohio State, the Big 10 or Urban Meyer that many of you object to?
IMO there is FSU as clearly the best team in the land. Alabama, Baylor and Ohio State are about equal. Admittedly though I have only watched Baylor once thus far this season. I think those 3 teams would split depending on the circumstances surrounding the game on any given Saturday. FSU on the other hand barring injury would crush the other 3. Again that is just my opinion, I would love to see these teams face off with Oregon somehow in the mix. Next year will be a start.

People keep talking about Ohio st playing weak teams, umm Balyor only beat 1 ranked team at the time of the game and that was Oklahoma, Ohio st has beat 2 ranked teams at the time of the game, Baylor meat of there schedule starts now, they have OK st and Texas.
Baylor schedule Wofford Buffalo UL Monroe WV K-st Iowa st Kansas Oklahoma Texas tech oh wow what a tough schedule Baylor played

Buffalo and Wisconsin are the best wins that Ohio State has. Oklahoma is a better win than either of them.
Quote:Buffalo and Wisconsin are the best wins that Ohio State has. Oklahoma is a better win than either of them.My point is people are criticizing Ohio st schedule and not Baylor lie they have played such a tough schedule, theirs is just as weak, now by the end of the year if Bayor wins out and the Big 12 title and Ohio st wins out and Big ten title, yes Baylor should be ahead of them.

I don't understand how the Big 12 gets more credit in these conversations than the Big Ten. The Big Ten has had a better BCS record AND national championship record than the Big 12, yet everyone rips the Big Ten for how "poorly" they perform.

Quote:The Big 10 is a dumpster fire like the ACC is.The Big Ten goes in and plays the SEC teams even in bowl games, despite the SEC being soooooo goooood and playing all the games at home.
