Could be getting some firepower back for this Sunday

Quote:So with Yeldon out, who would be the better fantasy play... Gerhart or Robinson? I would assume Gerhart because it is Robinsons first game back.Who cares? Why you would have Gerhart and Robinson is beyond me. If they are, you are most likely last in your league. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Wait. So, if these players all return from injury, that's a good thing and it could help the team win. But, pointing out that they've missed playing time due to injury and that this can impact the success/failure of this team is called an excuse?Look man, Im done with insulting you and being rude, so Im going to make this post as friendly as possible. First, injuries cannot be used as an excuse, ESPECIALLY if that injury is not to your franchise QB. Can it effect the succeess/ failure of this team? Absolutely. Does that mean you can you use it as an excuse? Absolutely not. The colts beat us without their starting franchise QB, see how they responded to this whole injury thing? They've won three straight, two of them sans Luck. Our injuries were to a MLB that took a paycut, a TE that we hadn't seen since week one of the preseason, and a WR that we CONSTANTLY have to deal with being banged up (thats unproven anyway)and Sen'Derrick Marks . Marks is literally the only player actually that could fit your argument, but we knew he would be out for a WHILE now, since the last game of last season. Secondly. Should you NEED to be 100% healthy to beat the Bucs? Our team was said to be "built" at the beginning of the season, good depth is part of being a "built" team. Was missing Paul Poz and Marks the SOLE reason for giving up 123 rushing yards to Doug Martin? Or making a mistake prone QB only miss on 6 of his passes? Was missing Linder the SOLE reason that our RB couldnt gain more than 32 yards against the 25th worst rush D in the league? Or for our offense to be 2/8 in 3rd down efficiency? Should we be happy that this " built " team was getting beat 24-38 against a team that was then considered THE WORST IN THE LEAGUE, making us rely on exploiting TBs prevent defense, and forcing us to go for an onside kick to make the loss even sound respectable? 38-31 sounds nice, except when you realize that the score was actually 24-38 until about 3 minutes left in the game. That's all I got. Quote:Was missing Paul Poz and Marks the SOLE reason for giving up 123 rushing yards to Doug Martin? Or making a mistake prone QB only miss on 6 of his passes? A healthy Marks and Poz would certainly have an impact on their running game. Pocket pressure, like last year, would impact Winston's performance greatly. Last year's defense was playing some really good football. This year's, with arguably talent added? Lost. Why? No pressure on the QBs. I think Marks impact on this team is greatly undervalued. People saying he isn't a difference maker, well, he is. Or was. Not sure about coming back from an injury.
Quote:I can't believe you just used Gerhart and Fantasy in the same sentence! I value carries. Last year I started Gerhart once and it was against the Titans. He scored. I won. ....your point?

Quote:Who cares? I'm 4-1 thanks for asking. I have TJ Yeldon and I am loaded on receivers, but need a replacement for the week.

Quote:That they aren't valid fantasy options. Did you really need to ask my point? Thought it was rather obvious. Says you? Lol. If Gerhart starts and Yeldon and Robinson don't play, I could picture MAYBE 11 carries for 40 yards and 4 catches for 20 yards and MAYBE a score. That's solid flex fantasy numbers. You know they love that screen pass to Gerhart.
Shock the world

I agree that his impact is the greatest from any other player on the defense. With that being said, even if we had Marks that game, I doubt we would of won. That team DOMINATED us. They are one of the worst in the league. There were more things than just injuries that cost us that game. Quote:Just asking for opinions. My lord you guys are major tense cause we stink. You asked for opinions, you got them. Sorry they weren't what you wanted to hear. You should listen to these opinions too.

The momentum turned and we were rolling before the Grant fumble. That was the back breaker. Also, our D started out awful then pulled together some respectable games. Not bottom 5. |
