or maybe he realized that TB rushing attack >>>>>>>>>Jax rushing attack

seriously, why would any RB choose to play for Jax other than more money?

If we raise him to the active roster we can cut him the very next week. TB signed him off our PS which means he has stay on the active roster for at least 3 weeks. 3 game checks > 1 game check.

I was going to say had anyone considered money might play a part?

He is a practice squad guy, an extra few hundred would probably swing it...

This difference in this case is about $47.5k.

Except you missed where the Jags offered him a spot on the active roster in an attempt to block the move but he chose Tampa anyways. Money wasn't a factor in his decision.

Except for the fact that he gets an automatic 3 game checks when with Jax he might only get one before being cut or demoted again.

More guaranteed game checks=more guaranteed money.

He gets a minimum guarantee of 3 game checks regardless if he signed with the Jags or with Tampa. Again money wasn't a factor.

Quote:If a practice squad player is signed to the active roster, they will receiver a minimum of three paychecks, even if they are released before spending three weeks with the team.

But that doesnt mean both teams offered him the same money does it? Thats what I was getting at.

He gets a rookie contract in the amount that's slotted for in the new CBA.

You sure do like to reach.

"TMD goes to the store"

"Cashier, I went to the back of the frozen food section I saw that there were no pizzas. It appears that they were all sold out. I presume this means that your suppliers refuse to sell you anymore of their pepperoni pizzas because the management is bad at your store. You will never ever get those pepperoni pizzas back in."

"Sir, we just sold out of pizzas. It is just a simple thing that happened. We are about to put out more stock if you can wait a fe..."

"NO! You guys are never getting pizzas again. You may think you know what you are about to do but you don't. You guys are out of pizzas and will never get them again."

Obviously nothing. Lonnie Pryor signed with Tampa for reasons other than money. Certain posters have a hard tome understanding this though.

I also hate when people jump to conclusions.

Like when people assume he left for more money?
