<div style="margin:5px 3px 0px 5px;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif, Verdana;font-size:12px;">Louisville head coach Charlie Strong told reporters he isn't sure if junior QB Teddy Bridgewater will declare for May's NFL Draft.
"I don't know if it's going to be his last game," Strong said of Bridgewater when asked about the school's senior game Memphis. "He has a group that is coming back that he grew up with. I don't know if he is ready to separate." Bridgewater's mother practically announced Bridgewater's intentions to enter the draft a few weeks ago, but Strong does not seem as certain. "Tim Tebow came back, it does happen," he concluded. Nov 18 - 1:07 PM

the majority believes he would declare and its the logical thing to do but i wonder what would happen here if he does decide to stay lol

For one you would see these boards implode, that would actually be worth it to watch.

He said his goal was to become the #1 draft pick. If he comes out next year, he wont be.

He's freaking graduating in December....of course he's declaring for the draft. These people are ridiculous that speculate that he's staying. I think they are just trying to create some drama where there is none.

If it happens, it happens. I doubt it does but it wouldn't be the end of the world.

If it happens, we grab Clowney and wait for Jameis/Bridewater next year, because we are once again going to be very bad next year without significant improvement from the QB position.

Teddy took out a $10M insurance policy, hes declaring. This coach is just salty hes going to be exposed for the fraud that he is once Teddy leaves. If hes smart he better take any NFL job he can if he wants to move up. Next year Louisville is going to be horrible.

Which means nothing.

Christian Ponder graduated, with an MBA nonetheless, in 2 and a half years. He played until his eligibility ran out.

Just because he's graduating means nothing. We'll know when he officially declares. He can easily decide to go back to school like Ponder or more recently Luck.

Not sure what your point is most likely he'll declare. Of course there's a chance he could go back but it's highly unlikely.

For the record I fully expect him to declare as well but to speak as if its already happened is being ignorant.

Rumor has it Luck didn't want to play for Carolina so he decided to stay another year already knowing he would have gone first overall. Its not too far fetched to think Teddy may not want to play for Jacksonville and decide to wait another year, especially if he decides to take another shot at the Heisman and a National Championship.

Christian Ponder wasn't a first-round pick after his third year in college, let alone the number-one pick...

The $10M insurance policy is a dead giveaway that Teddy's leaving. He's not going to come back for another year and pay the premium on that. C'mon, people; Luck did the same thing after spurning the Panthers and Clowney took out a similar policy. Clowney's gone, Teddy's gone, that's all there is to it.

That Louisville team is garbage, I doubt he stays and takes a potential hit to his draft stock.

He's coming out.  There's no else, and, or but about it.  The only "if" is that if he feels there's not much future in Jacksonville i.e. Elway and Baltimore, Eli and San Diego, then he might stay just to avoid being drafted here.  But that's not a reality.

Why are you even mentioning Ponder? He was never the level of prospect that Bridgewater is right now.

Luck stayed in school to finish his degree.

Bridgewater graduates next month.

Yes it is. But based on your obvious desperation in this thread, I doubt it will stop you from mentioning it for the next month and a half until he declares.

Didn't he recently start following some Jags on twitter?  I doubt it was because he doesn't want to be a jaguar at any cost.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
