Worst player on the team

#21

This is a difficult topic to answer... more difficult than the best player thread.

I'd go with Cyprien. He's just so disappointing.

Probably Alualu, Branch & Lewis (All Gene Smith's boys). Then Cyp. Cyp has been terrible at missing tackles. Problem is that he always goes to kill the guy instead of making the tackle.

I disagree about Lewis... he's still one heck of a run blocker, and he's rather impressive in the passing game when he actually does get open and catch the ball.

Lewis was pre-Smith.

Ummm, not anymore.  He's not opening anything up in the run game and he's awful in the passing game.  A few years ago this was true, but Lewis has gotten significantly worse this year.

Still hard to believe we took the Yugo before we took MJD.

Quote:I'm was thinking Josh Evans, but seeing as he beat out Sergio Brown... I guess Sergio.

Other contenders in my book are Beedles, Gerhart, Henne, Branch. Cyprien and Alualu. I'm not so hot on Roy Miller, either, but I'm not about to call him the worst.  Also, if Marquis doesn't man up and play come November 8th, I'm changing my answer to him.

I'm not mentioning bottom of the roster backups as I can't really judge them since they rarely play.
Josh Evans has played well in the box this year as a FS not so much

I would say Alualu

Whats even more painful is how many people in this thread don't know the difference between "worst player" and "most disappointing player".

Worst player is Thurston Armbrister. Rookie LB. Only a few snaps in the NFL.

Most disappointing player is a toss up between Cyp and Gerhart.

Can't wait to see whats next.

Marcedes has to be up there. He's slow, can't catch, bad blocker, he provides almost zero to the team on the field.

So he can develop into a great kicker on another roster?
