Trent Williams cursed out by a NFL official

#1

The officiating in the NFL is becoming a joke. Just look at the multiple blown calls every week at our stadium and times it by 16.

Trent Williams was called fat a** garbage by an official yesterday and he is livid. This comment was heard by numerous other players as well.

The NFL says the referees aren't allowed to follow the NFL and have a favorite team so there isn't bias in the officiating, but it's a load of crap because there is such disparity with judgement calls on the marquee players and average players on a weekly basis.

The NFL has to do something to save the integrity of the game quickly.

I just read this, pretty pathetic.

The officiating isn't perfect, never has been, never will. That's part of the game.

It is about professional behavior and acting like a grown man...sounds like the offical in question is lacking in both if this is true!!

The NFL does not want to admit the obvious fact that officials are playing favorites. How can they not after watching all 32 teams, some of them multiple times in a season?

Mike Periera said he dealt with the same issue during his career as the officiating vice president:

So why is this guy working full time and not the 16 other umpires?

That's an understatement. I would not be surprised if Dean Blandino fires him.

Good drama queen stuff. Got any examples of officials playing favorites?

Give me some officials and who their favorite team is.

Jeff Triplette has a long history of making bad calls against the Jaguars. We saw it again Sunday when he charged us a timeout for a non-reviewable play.

Oh please. You need to go to the JFK assassination sites - it seems you are really into conspiracies.

Perhaps TMD can hook you up with Jessie Ventura.

I know this is only a message board, so you can make stuff up, but somehow I doubt you've done any in depth study of how "Jeff Triplette has a long history of making bad calls against the Jaguars."

How many Jags games has Tripplette called?

No surprise to see you sticking with your "Professionals are always right and fair" approach.

Tripplette had refereed 16 games for the Jaguars.  He's called at least one game for the Jaguars every year since 2000 except in 2004 and 2008.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

He also called the 1999 game at Cleveland where Orlando Brown pushed him to the ground for throwing a flag directly to his right eye.

Didn't he also strike Beasely in the helmet?

When you don't have a valid argument you make things up, right?

Where did I state that "professionals are always right and fair"?

Are you JaguarsWoman's big brother? And do you share her conspiracy? How has Tripplet harmed the Jaguars?

Man, if it weren't for those biased officials we'd be 2-8!
