The Walking Dead Season 6 (spoiler alert)

Quote:I'm also kind of surprised they gave him a rather bland death, he has probably one of the more memorable deaths in the comics

I will say he was my least favorite member of Ricks Wrecking Crew on the show though.
How does he die in the comics?

I knew his time had to come but man....

Just in case they still use it on someone else

[spoiler] He get's his head smashed in with a bat, doesn't sound too eventful, but the writing and illustration for it was great

you can skip to slide 10 if you want to see the whole thing, or skip to 20 just for Glenns death

FINALLY!!! I was hoping he'd get the bat @ Terminus.

God, I hated Glenn. For no real reason.

RIP to a Episode 1 character.

There are desperate internet rumors that he is still alive, maybe somehow under Nicholas? I don't know. That situation is pretty inescapable. But apparently he is still being seen on set filming scenes with key characters.
Only a chump boos the home team!

A bad man makes an example out of him with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire.

Flashbacks?

The Obi-Wan Effect?

I wanna know how much longer they try to hide Alana Masterson's pregnancy. Will it be in the storyline or will they just off her character? How will they handle her lesbianism? It looks like they tried to set up Eugene to fall into the daddy role, but what if it was really Glenn somewhere along that desolate road after the prison? All I know is that flannel shirt isn't covering up the weight gain in her face.

If you caught Talking Dead after the show, the show creators didn't do anything to quell the rumors, saying he'd be back in some capacity, either as flashbacks, or in pieces, or in some other way.

They didn't do a memorial for him last night, and they always do that for characters who have been killed, so they're stoking the rumor mill for sure.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That was quite memorable wasn't it? Pretty dang unique and he was essentially taken down by what has helped him throughout his journey. He was the nice guy, always giving guys a second chance, benefit of the doubt. It bit him this time.

The Talking Dead hit this hard too, based on some intel from the powers that be. They left enough wiggle room with how that show ended for him to maybe come out alive.

There is a lot of speculation about his death or non death. They definitely did it differently than anything they've done in the past with core characters deaths.

He didn't have an especially memorable death - which is what Nicottero always said they do with core players

The story arc was more about Nicholas than Glenn

He didn't die at the end of the show, but with 15 or so min. left

All differences from the past. I'm also really just hoping he's not dead. Sad

Another thought is if he really is dead Sad, they'd have no way of really knowing he's dead other than speculations, so the reveal to the group would be to find Glenn as a zombie. Now, that would be memorable!!!!

Which is what I think what will happen...

And Maggie will probably have to put "zombie" Glenn out of his misery.

I'm still thinking those weren't Glen's entrails getting ripped outta him..

I thought that for a little bit - and even if it were to be true, it seems to be virtually impossible to escape the hoard of zombies piled on top of him in the quaint little alley.

Then I thought, maybe he could cover himself in zombie guts to somehow escape, but that isn't realistic.

I don't think they were his guts either, but I still don't think it's possible he escapes...well without making it a cartoon level escape.  I read about the dumpster but wiggling under there should probably draw their attention, not to mention nothing stops them from just following him under.  Not to mention he has fresh blood all over him and such.  I mean I guess he could crawl under the dumpster and find the entrance to a wormhole/alternate dimension/Narnia, but who really wants to see that lol.

Are we going to talk about Ricks cut on the hand from the blade sticking out of the walker? I had to google the comic since the referenced something happening in the comics from mixing zombie blood. Really though, they've all been splattered in the face with walker blood tons of times so I'm not sure logic fits here at all.

At any rate, the comic story line is interesting about Rick and the mingling of blood to his cut hand to say the least!!!!

He's too concerned about it to not have something happen like that. It's better than him dying and he could always do a Merle type shank to the stump.

Yep.

And I think that last scene was very telling of how much Rick has endured throughout this entire ordeal... I think the fact that he had to light up the Wolfpack like they were a pack of zombies probably put him over the edge. You can't trust other humans and an endless amount of zombies...

I want to know how Rick will get out of his current situation though... Perhaps Daryl and/or Sasha and Abraham could double back and catch up to him?

Next week's episode seems to focus on Morgan though.
