Lots of flex options
|
I'm struggling on who to start at WR/RB. Options include...
Bobby Rainey vs tough Lions D <--starting this week after huge game last weak vs horrible run D Mark Ingram vs weak Falcons D <--possible repeat of Cowboys game Nate Burleson vs Bucs <--WR was injured in car accident, but should start for 1st time since Roddy White vs Saints <--Roddy should be healthy now Rod Streater vs Titans <--Streater looks like new qb's fav target, but Titans CBs are good Chris Ogbonnaya vs Steelers <--Browns fans think he's their new secret weapon at RB Also worth nothing is that I have Keenan Allen to slated to start at WR3 vs a tough Chiefs defense.

Roddy and Ingram, if Roddy is playing. ATL will be throwing the ball all over the yard when they get down big. Should pick up a lot of garbage points for Roddy. Plus, it gives you something to root for in an otherwise dreadful game. On the other hand, Falcons are awful against the run and being up big, NO will probably run a lot in the 4th. Gotta go Ingram.
My 2 cents.
LOL ^ ... I would NEVER start Ingram. He can play a high school team for all I care, he's trash.
Start Rainey vs Lions or Obboweyoquejlqej vs Pitt... both are projected to have a good game.
Titansequaltrash aka my mini me. Follows me around like a cute puppy dog.
Quote:Hope you didn't listen to me, ha Unfortunately I listened to you among others regarding Ingram and started him. So, my flex got 3 points. Making matters worse, he flexed Pierre Thomas getting 13 points. He also started the Saints K Hartley though who only got 5 points, so if Vinatieri has another huge day and get like 15 points it would even things out. Last week he got 14 points in Tennessee giving him four games this season with 13 points or more.

He can play a high school team for all I care, he's trash. LOL... it sure is a tough name. Part of it is that I was impressed as heck two weeks ago when Ingram pounded on the Cowboys for an amazing day with like 150 yards. I figured they'd do the same to the Falcons, and looking at their schedule, it was probably his best chance to do so. He also keeps getting big yards every time he touches the ball. Even in this game he got like 7 yards every time he touched it. I really don't get why they don't use him more. Mark Ingram is a darn good RB. I was going to start Rainey if I didn't start him, so I hope this decision isn't what decides the game.

Ok... I made another move to hopefully make up the difference, but see if you buy this logic...
Keenan Allen at the Chiefs is rated around #18 this week and is projected to get 13 points by nfl.com. Nate Burleson vs the Bucs is rated around #32 and is projected to get 1 point by nfl.com. I was starting Allen, but I just benched him for Burleson. I can still change my mind, but see if this logic makes sense... Allen has struggled the last two weeks vs the Broncos and then at the Dolphins scoring only 4 points in each game. He sustained a minor knee injury in his last game, but he's been cleared to play. This has me thinking he might be a tad gimpy facing the Chiefs, and the Chiefs are out for blood having just lost their first game. Burleson has been out several weeks with an injury, but it was a forearm injury sustained in a car accident as opposed to being an ankle or knee injury. The Lions coach said Nate will get a full workload and will slide into the #2 WR spot opposite CJ with Durham moving to the #3 spot. Burleson was easily the Lions top WR after Calvin prior to his car accident, and the Bucs lately have been allowing all sorts of points to #2 and #3 WRs with Revis often taking out the #1 WRs. It's also a home game for Burleson whereas Allen will be in KC with their "sea of red." So, y'all buying this logic?

why is roddy white still on your roster at this point? and i'd have played allen, he's going to end up being river's go to guy
also the cheifs while they havent' given up much in the TD department give up a ton of yardage 420+ over the past two games. If the trend continues, and river's line sucks, which will result in him probably throwing quick like manning, they'll end up giving up more yards ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users.
