I know pff isnt much of a good source to tell how players are doing but sometimes it matches with the play on the field and this is one of them

Top 5 O-Lines in pass blocking efficiency: 1. Cowboys 2. Raiders 3. Bengals 4. Falcons 5. Bills

The Raiders line consists of two new starters, the other 3 have only been there 2 years, and the highest draft pick on that line is a second round. Then there is a third round pick, and the others are undrafted and a 6th round pick. Are you sure their line doesn't look so good not because of how good they are but because Carr is smart and doesn't hold onto the ball?

Quote:Id still take Bortles.  He has the ability when a play breaks down more to make something out of nothing than Carr does imo.  More upside imo with his playmaking ability
i'm sorry this is nothing but bias talking. I don't know how you can say with a straight face you would rather have Bortles than Carr right now. Say that anywhere that's not full of delusional Jags fans and you will get laughed and picked at.

Carr going off in his game vs teh Jets. It is seeming more and more like he is the clear cut best QB from last year's draft. 4 TDs on the Jets? Kid is lights out.

Whatch the games and you can see for yourself.  You probably havent watched the first Raiders game all year.   Where the players were picked means nothing.

And Carr has clearly pulled away since then and Bortles has not. I don't see what's wrong with calling something what it is.

I agree with this that Carr is the playing the best right now.  Will he have the best career?  Only time will tell.

I wouldn't go that far. He has two top 10 pick WR's to throw to and he's got a very good pass blocking line infront of him. Top 10? Sure.

Dude is slinging it out there. Better yet, against Revis and that tough defense

Also - Because we have bigger needs than at WR. I'm happy with the Fowler pick - you can't predict an ACL tear. Are Cooper/Crabtree better than the Allens? Maybe. Crabtree has more experience and Cooper is a monster.
