Don't drop Walters in the depth chart! He has been a good target for Bortles, very reliable hands. Hell, I wouldn't even put M. Lee above him when he comes back.

Quote:The NFL trade deadline is in 3 days, November 3rd. Seeing as how Marquis Lee still is not even practicing, and knowing Greene will return in 3 weeks for the Titans game, I'm thinking we should look to trade our early 2nd round pick from last year.

Does anyone know who the Jaguars newest roster addition, Hayes Pollard, is?
Trade our early second rd pick in his second season while he is injured so we can get a conditional 7th rd pick for him.

Brilliant!

2nd in division huh? And, the first in division STILL has a losing record. What exactly is that to be proud of being 2nd? When one thinks that being mediocre is OK just as long as others are too...........at the end of the day, if that's acceptable.........then fans like this have set the bar really, really low.

The Jags do seem to have rapid depreciation of their draft picks.....It'd be interesting to go over recent drafts and assign a trade value to each pick.

Because there is still a chance we can be #1 in the division and make the playoffs and being in the playoffs is something to be excited about regardless of how you get there.

7-9 Seahawks won their division.

People were so mad about a losing record making the playoffs. Getting a home playoff too.

They ended up beating the Saints.

We wouldn't get embarrassed.

We could surprise.

Imagine the story to tell of a 7-9 team backing into the playoffs and going on to win it all with a bunch of rooks and 2nd year players.

Haha...

Ok... anyways.. back to reality.

Exactly.  I have not stopped wearing my Jags gear, and I wouldn't be embarrassed if we made the playoffs at 6-10.  I'd be stoked for being back in the playoffs!  And who knows, if we made it in, we might play the Raiders at home.  I think we match up well against the raiders...

Of course all this is predicated on the fact that a miracle needs to occur to get our D to stop playing this cover 3 soft zone garbage on 91% of our passing plays.

LOL!  That takes heart, my friend!  Rocking the #11 is what I think the hipster kids call "ironic".  So you keep doing it!

Besides, to paraphrase Bull Durham, never mess with a winning streak.

You can't trade an injured player
