Balls? Balls?!?!?

Dude, she - I'm not certain if you're aware of this or not but the person who made the announcement / decision was Amy Adams-Strunk, a confirmed female so machismo isn't really an issue here - thought that Mularkey (Mike freakin' Mularkey!!!) was an upgrade!

Not quite certain if you're using the correct term there.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

So if we lose to them, should Gus be fired immediately?

Fired again?

How many times can he be fired on the same day?

Using Mularkey as a benchmark for suckiness as a head coach. Yes. lol

Brooklyn is still crying I see.

Hey Brooklyn, what kind of loser do you have to be to start a thread saying the same exact thing and follow it up by spamming other threads with your drivel?

You are a very special kind of stupid.

Poor titans fans. They're probably holding each other tight right now, hugging, watching their tears stream down their cousins' faces...

Isn't it hilarious, though? Our failed golden boy savior QB takes over the starting job in San Francisco within 24 hours of our failed coach taking over in Tennessee. This has to be some kind of conspiracy. Former Jaguars unite to stealthily bring down the NFL.

Heres to hoping he wins a few games and gets the permanent job.

Quote:Whisenhunt axed after going 3-20 as Titans HC

Ken Whisenhunt | FA

(November 3, 2015 9:45 AM EST)

Titans fired coach Ken Whisenhunt.

Mike Mularkey, who was the head coach in Jacksonville in 2012, will serve as the interim coach. Whisenhunt posted an abysmal 3-20 record as the coach in Tennessee and has now won just four games in his last 35 as a head coach in the NFL. The Titans offense was a train wreck under Whisenhunt, scoring just 16.5 points a game during his tenure, and there have been reports he lost the locker room and had "tension" with other coaches. The good news for Tennessee is Marcus Mariota, Taylor Lewan and Jurrell Casey are solid building blocks who should make Tennessee an attractive option for available coaches this offseason.

That seems to be the recurring theme with this year's in season firings for those wondering why Gus is still around.

Winning a few games will not be good enough for that. Interim head coaches almost never get the permanent job.

A valid point JW hence the "heres to hoping" part of my post.

The best part of this is Ken Whisenhunt is now available should we decide to move on from Gus at the end of the season. He's the one retread coach I would be in favor of hiring. And the added bonus of being able to stick it to the Titans twice a year would be appealing to him I'm sure.

Remind me never to recommend you for the GM job.

Yes, it'd be terrible to hire a HC who took a meh Cardinals team with a washed up QB to the super bowl. I suppose we should be trying to get Jeff Fisher, my bad.
