he's had an incredible improvement from year 1 to year 2... but let's keep things in perspective here.  He has a long way to go.

 

Has anybody said he doesn't? He needs to get his comp % up and turnovers down. He's also only halfway through his second season and he's playing for a rather incompetent head coach.

 

I look around the league and see the top QB's (Brady, Rodgers, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Brees) as guys with 10 years or more in the league.

a lot of INTs can be OK when you throw a lot of touchdowns, a good completion percentage, and overall score a lot more points than you set up.

but Blake does throw a lot of touchdowns. The difference is that those guys have a defense and running game to help them out and put them in position to win even when they mess up. If Blake messes up it's game over. That's a lot of pressure on a second year player.

BB5 is the best QB in the AFS, hands down.

 

When you consider the fact that he's hamstrung by a terrible coach, the worst O-Line in division, and a defense that is being coached by the worst head coach in NFL history, you gotta see that BB5 is special.

 

Just imagine when we actually have a real coach instead of a [BLEEP] to deal with.  

 

Anyone that watches each AFSC team play can see how much better Blake is compared to the rest of the QBs.  The thing that kills BB5 is the fact that he is hamstrung by a [BLEEP].  It's hard to be successful when a [BLEEP] is holding you back.

 

If Payton hits the open market, I hope Khan hands him a blank check. Just make sure he hires an experienced defensive coordinator.

Carr is on pace for nearly 40 with less than half the INTs, a 65% completion rate, and nearly 8 YPA. Mariota is on pace for nearly 40 with less than half the INTs, a 64% completion rate and around 7 YPA. Inflated TD numbers aren't that impressive relative to the rest of young NFL QBs. Its a passing driven league now, and while Bortles can keep up with raw TD numbers, he is so horribly inefficient to other young QBs.

yep.  that is why I see these numbers as nice, but it's honestly becoming rather average.  

 

Almost every decent QB is putting up "huge" numbers.

The first INT was not his fault.  Anyways, the INTs count regardless because there are others that should have been picked, but the pass at the end should have been a throw away.
