She says "we" but she's an Ohio state fan too. On top of whatever team she wants to root for each week.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

As much as she watches football she should know this.  Yeah, if we win out and win the SEC championship we will be in the top 4

Quote:Of course we need a lot of help to get that, so while waiting for the CFP rankings to be released, I am just thinking about the division title.

When was the last time a team started the season unranked and finished in the top 5? That would be crazy.
No we dont, we still play Fl St. and the SEC championship game.  If we win out we will make the playoffs.  Nothing to play for lol, you say some crazy stuff sometimes lol

I am a crazy woman, so that is to be expected.

Can you imagine the postgame reactions if we beat LSU in Atlanta? It would give the CFP committee a headache.

Why?  It would be pretty obvious if you ask me.  The winner of the SEC is in.

I don't see Florida doing that with Treon at qb, but its possible.

Because LSU already beat Florida.  There would be a big controversy over if the Gators should get in over the team that beat them in the regular season.

Wait... just wait one minute... I know I shouldn't even be entertaining your crazy thought process, but are you literally saying that if Florida wins out and beats LSU in the SECCG that the playoff committee would have a headache on their hands?

You do realize that the SECCG is significantly more important than a regular season game first off right? Not to mention that if you've ever in your life paid attention to college football, you do know that the most recent results are more considered than something done midway through the season?

I feel like this is too easy to explain... someone help me out here?

The Gators officially clinched it here with an ugly win against Vanderbilt. Now we can forgot about the rest of the division because all six of them suck;

Maybe I need to use simpler terms here. It is good to learn my crazy thought process.

If Florida beats LSU in the SECCG, the CFP Committee must determine if semifinal lineups should be solely based on CCG results or partially a result of fan interest. For example, who wants to see Memphis, an AAC (Group of Five) team, play against Iowa (Power of Five team) in the Orange Bowl? How will they pick a matchup based on records and CCG results when upsets occur in Atlanta and Indianapolis?

I hope this helps you understand it a little better.

LSU won't be in the SEC Title game.

They will if Alabama loses another game. We all know that can happen.

can it? Sure, since they've still got regular season games, but let's be realistic here.

I did not say what the more realistic prediction is. Any given Saturday.

Of course, the AGS rule could mean LSU just had a bad game like Alabama did against Ole Miss.

You are the one who has talked in concrete terms this season about sure fire wins before it's happened. Come on man!

Woman.

I think everyone does that. How many times have posters said a certain game will be an automatic win or loss? Actually I am the one who reminds people about AGS.
