Week 11 Games Of Interest

#1

Saturday, November 14th

#10 Florida at South Carolina - 12:00

Want to see the Gators play better offensively against an opponent that they should. The defense really played well last week and without it, they don't win. Can't look past SC to FSU though.

NC State at #16 FSU - 12:30

FSU looks to rebound against a team most think they should beat up. NC St. is better though than most think. Has a chance to be a fun game. FSU also can't get looking towards next week either.

#4 Alabama at #20 Miss. St. - 3:30

Bama is rolling again, playing very well. Miss. St. is no slouch though and could give Bama all they can handle.

#15 Oklahoma at #6 Baylor - 8:00

Big game for both. Both teams can still sneak into the playoffs with a bit of help. Baylor struggling a bit right now with loss of their QB. Oklahoma is playing lights out since Texas, and look to continue that.

What else intrigues you?

Ill be at the Arkansas - LSU game saturday night.  Night games in Baton Rouge are supposed to be great although I'm sure there will be a bit of a let down.

Why would FSU be looking ahead to Chattanooga?

Ha, whoops....let's talk about who's looking ahead now.

I forgot my Dogs have UT-Chatt for the outright conference title this weekend. Let's do this!

Oregon @ Stanford - Oregon still has the talent to make this a good game.

Miami @ UNC - UNC can secure the ACC Coastal Division with a Win.  they've never won the ACC in football or gone to the ACC Championship game.

Minnesota @ Iowa -- Iowa still undefeated (next 2 games vs Purdue and @ Nebraska).

Clemson/UNC in the ACC title game? It may finally actually be a sell out.

Larry Fedora might be coaching himself into contention for some bigger jobs.

I think Mississippi State could give Bama a good game. Mississippi State has been playing well. Earlier in the year, they took LSU to the end and only lost by 2. Prescott got a lot of press last year and may be having a better year this season.

I think the same thing about the Florida game.  UF has too much trouble generating offense, and one of these times its going to come up and bite them.  SC, FSU, SEC Championship....these are all tough games for Florida based on that alone.

This looks weird. Instead of simply correcting the name a new thread is started.

What? Why do you expect South Carolina to be hard for Florida? That is the worst team in the crappy SEC East.

Ohio state sucks
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Other than what I just said?  I simply don't think Florida is that good.  They have beat up on a "crappy" SEC East with Will Grier at the helm for much of the year, and now have a subpar qb leading the team with a pretty poor offensive line leading the charge.  South Carolina still has enough talent to pull off an upset.  You are too busy looking at records and rankings to understand wins and losses.  You really have no clue.

Fyi, just because UF is ranked ahead of FSU, doesn't make them a favorite in the game.  I would pick Florida State all day in that one.

This is true.  Put Ohio State in the SEC, heck put them in the ACC, and I bet they are at the very least a 2 loss team.

I doubt they make it past Michigan St/Michigan without a loss.  Ol' Urbs isn't liking a Big 10 with a Harbaugh in it...he liked when it was a cupcake league.

Oh my ... we used to have visions of FSU vs Miami and ended up getting GaTech vs Wake Forest here during a Nor'easter.   What a disaster !!!  I recall sitting in Panera seeing Wake fans come in and I'm thinking -- you couldn't pay me enough to sit out in the cold rain to watch that game.

I don't necessarily agree.  They've manhandled their past 4 opponents and prior to that simply played to the level of competition.

I don't even think Ric Catlett could say that game was a success, but I am sure he tried.

I never said Florida is better than FSU. Where did you get that from? In fact I specifically pointed to the loss of Will Grier as the main reason Florida will lose a couple games.
