It was an old thread about a WR spotted at Publix.

This is correct. The WR was Joey Porter, who Shack picked up from the raiders. He was often injured & hardly saw the field. If I remember correctly, he was either dating or married to a relative of Shack's.


The 91% joke stems from a comment a message board member made when he said (in a thread) that he spotted Joey Porter at Publix and asked him how his injury rehab was coming along and then said that Joey told him he was at 91%.

If we can pick up some key defensive guys in the offseason I think we can win 10 games.

This team is going to be good next year, with further improvements of our young core and the addition of Dante Fowler and a stud 2016 1st rounder. 10-6 would be my estimation.

The off season will have to be dedicated to a complete rebuild of the coaching staff on special teams and defensively (and head coach, depending on how Gus finishes this season). And then we really need to spend all the draft picks on defense... other than maybe drafting/signing a couple offensive linemen.


As of right now, we do not win the LOS. That'll need to change if we want to be a playoff contender next season.
