How many sacks has he given up?

I'd bet money on most of those being Bortles's fault. How many times have we seen him roll out in the face of pressure?
I have definitely seen more pressures from Parnell's side in the last two games. I think Bortles contributes to some of those because he does tend to drift out of the pocket in either direction. I think Parnell has been fine I'll be worried if the pressures and sacks continue though.
Comparing Parnell to what the team had before.....whatever he's being paid is fine by me.

In today's nfl. We are garantee to overpay some players. I'm ok with parnell

Quote:That number seems high, like abnormally high considering second worst has ten fewer pressures. Also I've thought he's been pretty solid in pass pro aside from the holding penalties, so something's not adding up. Yeah. I don't buy those stats. Wasn't Brandt a Dallas guy? Seems like he wants to spin the stats to make it look like they didn't make a mistake by letting him go. My eyes tell me Parnell has been solid. Not great, but not the disaster its been the last couple years.
I don't care how much money he is getting paid. Particularly when we are so far under the cap. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:There has been quite a few times were Bortles has drifted to the right a bit too early. I think that gives the higher than usual pressure numbers for Parnell. that's a good point. not to mention Bortles rolls right (vs left) 80% of the time when he is scrambling laterally.
Think about who had next to him before his numbers started falling. He has a rookie next to him now. When Linder was starting those two were pretty awesome together. I'm ok with Parnell, next year will be the tell all.

Quote:Parnell played better when Linder was next to him, imagine that... lolMaybe he's having to make up for some stuff Cann hadn't been doing that Linder did. Who knows. It's growing pains either way.

Here's BCC's sack analysis. It doesn't include the Jets game, but according to Hank Jones, Parnell was only responsible for one sack out of 18 through the first seven games.
Jones includes video and reasoning and his analysis looks very accurate to me. http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2015/10/27/...-the-bills "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?"

Cann is a rookie and while he has played well he's made some gaffs too. We all know the O-line is most dependant on continuity. We've seen that poor play from a guard can make a tackle look worse than he is, even if that tackle is under-performing. And vice versa, and more so with centers I imagine.
