You are probably a casual NFL fan like a lot of the people here.

 

They want to give a franchise QB or Clowney to the Texans and stick us with another bust QB ala Gabbert.

Side from the O-line, the Jags are playing well thus far.   Of course, the tinhorns aren't putting up much of a fight offensively.

If you assume we'll miss the pick, then it would be true at pick 1 or pick 4. Either way, we're hosed.


If you assume we'll hit on the pick, then it's only logical to want all of the options to choose from so you get the best guy. In this case, pick 1 is much better than not.
