4th and inches decision at end of game

Quote:Lol, I just rewatched the game.  He was literally shaking the cobwebs out of his head while he was on the field, the most obvious sign you can give for a concussion.  He was effected and nothing was done.  Terrible refs and horrible concussion protocol.

Watching the replay on the NFL network now.  I'm a bit concerned about Poz after that play too.  His head hit the wall and he was slow to get up and his first couple of steps were a bit shaky.  He shook it off and ran back to the huddle and kept playing, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear he was in the protocol this week too.

Also, the TV broadcast didn't do justice to how loud the boos were during that drive.

After the tacks burned their last time out, that was absolutely the right call to kick.

Quote:Because there's another team on the field?  One with a pretty solid Defense that would absolutely sell out to stop the incoming QB Sneak.

The QB Sneak which failed earlier in the game.

Kind of like the inability (yet again) to punch the ball in w/ the run inside the 5?

Last night, the Jags D was the strength.  Kicking the FG there puts the Titans in a VERY difficult spot, needing a Touchdown with ~2 minutes and ZERO Timeouts.

Gus Bradley basically decided that our Defense gave us the best chance to win the game there.

Turns out, he was right...

For once.
You do realize you don't have to sneak it, toss it to Denard and let him use his speed to turn the quarter, worst case he dives for the edge and gets the real estate. Yeldon up the middle (granted it was stuffed the play before). or you could *GASP* Pass the ball on a hitch or quick slant. you can even use Play action because you know the Tacks are gonna sell out for it with only a few inches needed.

Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Quote: If it wasn't for Gus Bradley objecting that Delanie Walker was able to stay in the game without missing a play or Tennessee having to use a timeout,  Walker wouldn't have even missed one play.  It was surprising that Walker was cleared as fast as he was.   There's no question that when it comes to potential concussions,  err on the side of caution.
He didn't hit the wall. He didn't even hit his head. He was more stunned when his shoulders both slammed into the track. But his head never touched a thing on replay.

the other team had no time out left after calling the one when we had this.  When opposseing team is loseing, and has no timeouts to use you take the points, and force them to go for a td to win game. No matter who the qb is. when you are winning, and other team has no time outs you take the points. Always. now if they had a time out left then you have to go for it.
