Week 12 NFL Games of Interest

#41

Quote:The Panthers are #3 in offense and #5 in defense. So there goes that argument.

So they should have no problem scratching and biting the Cowboys today. GO PANTHERS!

Of course, I am always worried about Tony Romo and Dez Bryant . . .

The Cowboys always have problems but Tony Romo is undefeated this year. I am still hoping there will not be an upset, although the Panthers should get to him early and often.

You should really learn more about football and stop embarrassing yourself.

What do you say that for? Your Panthers blew out the Cowboys, so it is obvious Dallas has enough problems to lose. That starts with Tony Romo.

I am never disappointed when Tony Romo throws three interceptions. Those are beautiful things.

What's going on with Green Bay? It doesn't look like they're near as good as most people thought they were after the first month of the season.

Losing to the Bears,, on Thanksgiving,, at Lambeau,, on Favre's night.

Unthinkable

Aaron Rodgers said he and his receivers are on different pages.

Are you all ready to root for the Saints, Buccaneers, and Raiders?

The Panthers are having a terrific season.  But their passing Offense isn't close to being # 3 statistically.   Right now,  one question that I have is whether the Panthers can come back in a playoff game if they fall behind by double digits?

Quote:theres plenty of news that the Packers entire offensive line is beat up and Rodgers still has phantom, questionable injuries. I'm taking the Bears.

the barely beat Chicago last time when they were supposed to be at full strength

Good call with the Bears prediction!

The Bears did a better job of protecting the football and their Defense did a tremendous job to preserve the victory after Aaron Rodgers drove the Packers inside the 10 yard line very late in the game.

Go back to all of their scores from Weeks 1-12 How many of those 12 games do you see blowouts, shootouts, second half comebacks, and defensive battles?

From the standpoint of comebacks,  which is in essence a major part of the uncertainty I have with the Panthers when the chips are on the table in January and maybe February,   the Panthers did a great job coming back from 9 down in Seattle in the 4th QTR to beat the Seahawks.   That was an impressive win,  despite Seattle having problems this season protecting leads.   That was the one time that I'm aware of that the Panthers were able to complete a comeback when they were down by more than one score.

Being that the Cardinals are most likely the team the Panthers will have to beat to reach the Super Bowl,   I would be at least a little surprised if the Panthers pulled off a similar type of comeback against the Cardinals if they got into that situation.  On the other hand,  even though I feel the Cardinals have the most balanced Offense in the NFC when they are relatively healthy,   I would be at least a little surprised if they were able to comeback against the Panthers in the 4th QTR if they trail by 9 or more points.
