Is an illegal forward pass a loss of down? Because if not we didn't replay 3rd down after the penalty.

Refs said it was a loss of down. Whether that's the actual rule or just some weird reffing, I'm not positive, but the lack of replaying 3rd down was consistent with these refs call.
