No they won't....but they will also make rebuilding that much tougher on themselves by having to play the QB lottery, rather than get a QB that is the head of the draft class.....and for what?....for a few ugly wins at the end of a dead season vs some other bad teams? Seems not worth missing out on to me.... all the while potentially giving a division rival the same QB....thats just great....

Maybe I am in the minority, but I don't get the Bridgewater at all costs mentality. I doubt that he would even be considered the consensus number one player by so many on this board if he had not entered the season in that role. I don't see a sure-thing QB when I watch him play. He did not play that well the other day against Memphis. Even his good games have been sort of meh to me.

Louisville was top 10, but even if they went undefeated they wouldn't never entered the conversation of the BCS Championship game

 

Luck's hype was warranted because he faced much better competition than Teddy, but to say that he can't be as good as Luck, I would say, why not?

It might be at number 1, it might be at number 7, or number 24, or number 76.

We have 4 really elites this last decade, Manning(Peyton), Brees, Brady, Rodgers.

They came from all over the draft.

 

There are no guarantees and since there are no guarantees you take your wins and enjoy them. Not this crap.

Then you draft the best QB that is available. It may be Gabbert, or it may be Russel Wilson.

Nobody, not even TMD has a crystal ball of how a players career will turn out.

So advocating laying down, losing, having half empy stadiums, an owner upset over his revenue stream, all because some Media guy, or

lucks hype was warranted because he was an elite prospect. if teddy is an elite prospect like luck, he would be hyped as such no ifs or buts. qb is the most important position in football.
