Chip Kelly to the Titans?

Speaking on 97.5 FM The Fanatic (Philadelphia), NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport indicated that Kelly could be the subject of a trade between the Eagles and the Tennessee Titans that would also involve a first-round selection.

“In the past, it’s always been a No. 1 pick,” Rapoport said. “If he wanted full control in Tennessee, I don’t think that’ll happen. If he did not want full control, I think that’s something they would consider. That’d be the only other play at this point.”

Chip wants too much power, he failed at being a coach and a GM, he should go back to college where he belongs

It wouldn't get much better for the Eagles as they pick up the broken pieces if they end up with a 1st Round Pick AND Chip Kelly moving on.   Even assuming that it wouldn't be Tennessee's 2016 1st Round pick,  which could easily be a top 2 pick,  any 1st Round pick would be a gift for the Eagles.

Chip Kelly created a mess when he got the Eagles job. He just wanted full control of everything. For a guy coming out of college with no previous NFL coaching experience, that is not a smart thing to do.

Remember when Kelly told everyone he will stay at Oregon before taking the Eagles job? Because of that, I don't want to believe him this time when he says the opposite: no interest in college jobs. He does not want people to know anything.

Dream scenario would be the Titans trading away a chance at Bosa for Chip Kelly.

After seeing how that whole "full control of everything" worked out for Kelly in Philly just 3 years in, I just don't see another team giving him full control as HC.

I could actually see Kelly going back to college as a HC before I could see him with full control of another NFL team.

It just kind of looks like his Eagles team has given up on him right now and that's a bad sign.

LOL -- the Titans don't have any good skill WRs and RBs that Chip Kelly could get rid of.

In a way, the player personnel approach that Chip Kelly took was very similar to Gene Smith.

They both overlooked the significant of retaining or acquiring playmakers and instead built a team more loaded with role players

They will pick high enough to get Bosa.

Not if they traded their pick to the Iggles for Kelly.  That was what he was saying, JW.

The first round pick would be traded for Chip. Try and keep up.

I heard that Chip Kelly has proposed to Mariota and the honeymoon will be in Waldo, Florida.

Dear football gods, us Jag fans deserve something like this.  Please, please, please.  Amen.

Not gonna happen.  People forget that Mariota only played 1 year for Kelly.  He won the Heisman and a NC with Helfrich.  And we don't need or want Bosa.  D-line is fine.  We want Ramsey.

^You can take him.  He'll blow his knee out in training camp.  You know it's true. LOL

If the Titans make that trade, they obviously don't want Bosa.
