Ask that question to anyone that supports Trump (I did so today) and they can't give an honest answer.  They say "ban Muslims" but don't single out the Arab person for some reason.  There always has to be another test, much like unf_nashvillian tried to do above.

I don't think I can fairly answer these questions because I am not a professional when it comes to the field of interrogation. I mean, I know this is a loaded question and the whole goal of this is to trap me in some sort of "gotcha" situation where I am either a bigot, racist, or xenophobe. That's fine, though.

 

With the current system, I would say none of them are banned because they claimed they are not Muslim. That is all there is to immigration at this point, right? Just check the box of your religion and on you go. You might have a background check, but if there is no information on you then you are clean. It is a very bad system that needs to be improved.

Both questions are not "loaded" questions or "gotcha" questions.  I presented those questions to illustrate the idiocy of Donald Trump saying that we need to "ban all Muslims".  There is no way to do so, but it riles up his supporters.  The same could be said regarding his "round them all up and deport them" rhetoric.

 

It's one thing to present a "wishful thinking" idea, it's another to present a realistic idea.

Thank you for the love, but looking for a "win scenario" is exactly what I am looking for in a Presidential candidate.  People love Donald Trump because he wants to "ban Muslims".  My question presents the problem of "how" and also illustrates that there is no logical way to do that.  The same could be said about his "round them all up and send them back" rhetoric regarding illegals.  It might sound good to his fan base, but when the question of "how" is brought up, it's usually "deer in the headlights".

I'm not even going to touch them, because I think they're valid questions that no one advocating a ban on Muslim immigration can answer satisfactorily.

Here's an idea. Why not put stars on their coats to ID them..wait..stars have been used before. How about a moon and star, and have them pin it to their lapels or something. Then everyone can identify these " potential killers" and keep an eye open.


Seriously however, we have to deal with issues like this now. If our clandestine operators profile , eavesdrop and do things that are not popular with what they may deem viable threats...I'm going to assume they do.

But if anyone thinks stopping 2 people like the the San Bernardino couple, who do not say a thing to anyone and keep a low profile...good luck. Even Israel gets terror attacks that slip through, and their security " trumps" ours by a long shot.

Stopping this scourge isn't the same as containing it. We can only hope to contain it for the time being.

Interesting. You want to eliminate (kill?) Trump supporters because they are "Nazi's", but are totally OK with inviting foreign Muslims into the country, who are 5,000 times (literally) more likely to commit acts of terror than American citizens. Awesome.
