I've never been able to get into shows that take place during the Medieval times or Roman Empire or similar eras. Spartacus, GoT... never watched them.

I had the same type of mentality until a friend told me to just watch the first episode of GoT. I was super reluctant and critical but came out of it with a blown mind.
