Exactly. Cincinnati can lose tomorrow, but still clinch a playoff spot if Jets or Chiefs lose.


So, there most likely will be some "clinching" tomorrow by the Bengals one way or another.


I think the Steelers are going to win. As a matter of fact, I think the Steelers are going to win the next 2 games @ Cincy and vs. Broncos the next week.


I REALLY hope Pittsburgh loses and doesn't make the playoffs. But, alas, I think they're getting in and possibly going to the Super Bowl. Man, I hate the Steelers!

So chances are the Bengals need to win to clinch a playoff berth this week. Of course, that is doable because they already beat the Steelers.

After reading the Week 14 clinching scenarios again, I figured out I need to root for the Bengals because it is very unlikely San Diego wins at Kansas City. Of course a Chiefs loss would be even better. I just don't see it happening.

 

Chances are good the Cardinals have to wait another week to clinch their division title because the Seahawks play in Baltimore. The Panthers and Patriots should have no problem.

The Steelers vs Broncos game is in Pittsburgh. I think the Broncos are going to have a very difficult time going there and getting a win. I think the Steelers will beat Denver, especially if Pitt loses tomorrow and absolutely HAS to beat the Broncos to stay alive. I think Pitt wins that one.

Also as expected Carolina clinched a first round bye in the NFC playoffs.

 

Unfortunately, there was a surprise in Denver, where the Broncos lost to Oakland. No playoff berth for them yet.

 

The Bengals also will have to wait another week to clinch a playoff berth after losing to Pittsburgh - and do it without injured Andy Dalton.

The game was in Denver. I was not expecting a blowout win, but thought there was very little chance of an upset. Denver's offense is too good to only score 12 points.

And of course, only down 16-7, McCarron promptly throws a horrible pick-6 which pretty much sealed it. Then later in the game when the Bengals still had a slight chance, he promptly throws another horrible INT that was basically another pick-6 (returned to the 5 yd line).

Tyler Eifert probably is not done for the year. Somehow Cincy will go to the playoffs. Andy Dalton obviously will be if he can't live without a cast on his right hand.
