Vick used to be one of my favorite players, and I always believed he just accepted a plea deal on the whole dog fighting thing cause the DA had an agenda and was gonna hang him out if he didn't (I don't believe he was actively involved, just stupidly negligent about his family and 'friends'). I think he owned up to his mistakes and he really cleaned up his crew after that, and is one of the few cases of the system working. 

 

But as far as football goes, he can't stay on the field anymore, hard to be entertaining if you can't stay on the field. He will give us what? 6-10 games at best? Not worth it.
