Mini meltdown on the Colts board

Quote:He could actually achieve those expectations this year if he gets the clots to the Super Bowl and he probably doesn't even have to win it, just get them there.

Well, it's right there in front of him, let's see if he can get there.

With that team? lol

Quote:So what makes luck better?

Less mobile

Weaker arm

Not any smarter

Similar accuracy

Oh ESPN hype. He's better at that.
Not certain about the less mobile or weaker arm part.

IIRC, Luck ran a 4.5 at the combine.

As much as I can bash the Colts this year. I can't include Luck in that.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

loa usually makes things up to fit an agenda he has.

He's wrong 99% of the time.

I don't know about loa being wrong 99% of the time, but I think the days of the AFC South being the worst division in football are over because of the young QBs-including Luck-in the division.

In the years to come, this will be the toughest, most competitive division.

Gabbert also ran quicker than Bortles. Mobility and speed in shorts arent the same thing. Bortles has a sick spin move to avoid rushers and definitely better at moving round the pocket. Also has longer runs and averages than Luck.

Oh dear CW want me to list all the things you are wrong about?

Reggie Wayne not being done?

Trent Richardson?

Pretty much every Colt FA?

Andrew Luck?

Could go on and on.

We have went over these things a million times.

You weren't correct on them, at all.

Plus, I wish I could find it, but earlier this year you were going on & on how the Jags were going to rule the division this year... Not happening. Not even making the playoffs.... Again.

Like the way everything I said was factual and you just made up lies about what I apparently said! haha

Think I said we were just as likely to win the division as anyone as it was terrible - enter CW Colts are great blah blah blah. Still think we are just as likely.

Until I stated Bortles is the best QB in the division I don't think i've made an overly positive Jags comment since 07. I prefer to make fun of delusional divisional rivals who think the Patriots care what they are up to.

That's the only thing I can find even close to backing up what you just said CW.

You mean the one's where you come and call me stupid and then I get proven right?

Bortles > Luck. Maybe you can nail me with that in the future? First for everything!

Considering backing the Texans this weekend, love making money off your tears!

Actually the Colts are such underdogs the Texans are unbackable.

For the record, you definitely claimed (at some point, some where) that the Jags were going to control the division with your future HOF QB.

Fortunately for you, I don't care enough to go look back and find it.

Also, you get paid for trolling me? Someone cares that much about me on a message board?!?!?! I'm actually honored!

I don't recall saying that, but if I did it is pretty clear I would be making fun of Colts fans. They are the only ones to ever proclaim HOF worthy players in their Rookie season.

I'll point out sarcasm next time I use it CW some aren't the sharpest...

Quote:Anyways, I like Bortles, I think he's alright. He'll be your QB for a while. He's no where near what Luck has accomplished, especially when healthy.

What?

2nd years compared, Bortles has significantly more yards, significantly more tds, higher rating, couple more turnovers and pretty much identical comp %. Blake's year 2 is closer to Luck's year 3.

A case can be made Blake has achieved more than Luck. Pure QB stats wise.

Obviously Luck has more wins, but most of those are against the AFCS. He's. 500 outside the divison.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Well...... he has been anointed the Chosen One and the best young QB to come into the league in a long long time.

Plus, he took a 2-14 team to the playoffs in his rookie season, so this older, more veteran team should be easier to take even farther then the first round.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

That's the thing, it's a team game. The best we can do Is give the eyeball test and look at individual stats.

In my opinion, bortles looks like the better quarterback. I'll need to see more consistency and a little less of those boneheaded throws before I feel comfortable stating that as fact though.

The thing about luck that there is no refute for if you watch him, excluding the team around him, just focus on luck and after a lot more games than bortles, luck throws a lot of those boneheaded passes, a lot of his passes wobble, and on more occasions than normal, he turns the ball over.

Luck and bortles actually are very similar players, besides in my opinion, bortles stronger arm, and that bortles is younger, greener, and still improving every season as opposed to luck. Outside of some minor peaks and valleys, luck has remained pretty stagnant.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Defending loa is not a smart decision, just to let you know.

Quote: Bortles has very good awareness usually and is able to escape pressure most of the time. Also, Bortles' throw on the run is a thing of beauty.
..........so is mine.......when I'm 7 yards past the line of scrimmage........multiple times.........
