NFC playoff updates:
Arizona clinched the AFC West title. Green Bay clinched a playoff spot. Seattle clinched a playoff spot.
Quote:NFC playoff updates: this is fascinating. I'm still saying Seahawks lose in first round whether its a 5th or 6th seed.
Quote:this is fascinating. Way too early to say stuff like that. You don't know who the third and fourth seed teams are.

Cincinnati is not going to win in Denver next Monday Night.
It was already going to be a tough task anyway: - Denver is very tough at home - Cincy is not good in big games on primetime Now: -They have to go in there with AJ McCarron as their QB, Lol! He is nowhere near ready for a big time game like that. Denver's defense will probably shut out the Bengals because of it. I watched all of Cincy's game yesterday. McCarron is absolutely a struggling "rookie" QB. He was panicking after his first read. He was inaccurate most of the time. And he made alot of questionable decisions that veteran QBs don't normally make. Osweiler has a big advantage in that he has already played quite a few games. McCarron is horribly inexperienced. **If the Bengals are to have ANY chance at winning this week's game or a game in the playoffs, their defense is going to have to play absolutely "out of their minds" with turnovers, scores, sacks, field position. Their running game needs to also be dominant. Yesterday, the running game was not good. Cincy needs a miracle. It does not look good for them.
Quote:How is it too early? I don't care who they are playing. I know they'll lose in first round. Because you don't even know what the matchups will be in the first round. NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING at this point except who SOME of the playoff teams are. It is crystal clear you just don't care about the playoffs because if you did, you would not argue with me about the indisputable facts. You even just said you don't care about them. So why even read this thread?
Quote:Because you don't even know what the matchups will be in the first round. NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING at this point. thats my point. the match ups dont matter. I know the Panthers will lose their first playoff game. I have watched football for 35 years. I know how it will play out.
Jagherd, I think the Bengals can score, but it will be too little too late. The Broncos probably will score on defense. If Andy Dalton was playing, I would expect a more entertaining game.

Quote:That's my point. The match ups don't matter. I know the Panthers will lose their first playoff game. I just clearly explained your point is wrong and you don't care about the playoffs. What makes you think you KNOW what will happen in the future? You can make all the predictions you want, but there is NO reason for a guy who knows anything about football to think he knows what will happen tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year.
Quote:I just clearly explained your point is wrong and you don't care about the playoffs. What makes you think you KNOW what will happen in the future? how is saying theyll lose a wrong point? its a definitive statement. Carolina might win one playoff game depending on when they play Giants in the 2nd or 3rd round. The Giants will beat them or Minn. will beat them.
Quote:How is saying they'll lose a wrong point? it's a definitive statement. Your wrong point is saying you KNOW who will lose in the first round of the playoffs.

If Andy Dalton was playing, I would expect a more entertaining game. I don't think they can score with McCarron at the helm. I really don't. They couldn't even get a first down most of their game yesterday. The defense got a couple turnovers and gave the offense terrific scoring position. The defense/special teams are going to have to score, or give the ball to the offense starting near Denver's red zone. Maybe Cincy will prove me wrong. But I highly doubt it. That game will look like a huge mismatch most likely. Watching McCarron yesterday reminded me of watching Henne with the Jags. It looked very similar.
Quote:Green Bay and Seattle will lose in the first round. If the playoffs were tomorrow, the Seahawks would play in Green Bay, so only one of them could lose.
Quote:If the playoffs were tomorrow, the Seahawks would play in Green Bay, so only one of them could lose. But they aren't tomorrow.
Quote:But they aren't tomorrow. True, but you are still wrong to tell me either team will lose before the seeding for all 6 spots in the NFC have been set. If you can't accept that fact, welcome to Iggy Land. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

If you can't accept that fact, welcome to Iggy Land. i'm only wrong if it doesnt happen. you already know who is in playoffs except for nfc east, I dont pretend to be in the dark about it. They will want popular long standing teams in SB 50. Why would you feel the need to ignore because I'm saying something in advance? you are fun to talk to. I'm not trying to offend you. You just disagree. Thats nothing to take or make personal. just wait it out and see what happens. at the end of the day,its just unimportant sports on tv
I just have a bad feeling you only want to argue with me is all.
Your playoff predictions may be accurate. My issue with your posts is you insist we already know who is in the playoffs before all 12 spots have been clinched.
Here are the Week 16 playoff scenarios for both conferences (assuming there are no ties):
New England Patriots Clinched: AFC East and first round bye Home field advantage: Win Cincinnati Bengals Clinched: Playoff spot AFC North: Win or Steelers loss First round bye: Win Denver Broncos AFC West: Win and Chiefs loss Playoff spot: Win and Jets loss or Steelers loss Houston Texans AFC South: Win and Colts loss Kansas City Chiefs Playoff spot: Win and Jets loss or Steelers loss Pittsburgh Steelers Playoff spot: Win and Jets loss Carolina Panthers Clinched: AFC South and first round bye Home field advantage: Win or Cardinals loss Arizona Cardinals Clinched: NFC West First round bye: Win Green Bay Packers Clinched: Playoff spot NFC North: Win and Vikings loss Minnesota Vikings Playoff spot: Win or Falcons loss or Seahawks win Washington Redskins NFC East: Win http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...or-week-16 Phew, that was a lot! So far 6 teams (4 NFC, 2 AFC) are in the playoffs. As you can see here, the playoff picture will change drastically after all Week 16 games are played. |
