Quote:I do hope we beat the Texans and get to 6 wins. A 6-10 record without even a semblance of a pass rush is def a passing grade to me. And of course I'm over the moon with the ascent of the offense. Lots of things to be excited about here in jax.

Good point.

I guess they needed they needed the break to begin deleting unnecessary threads.

You wouldn't understand.
It's a shame that not all Jags fans live within driving distance of J'ville.

So here's the thing. You all know that he's going to be back and there's nothing going to change that. Think of it as equivalent to your sad sex life or lack of friends, it's just what it is and there's not much you can do about it. So can you please all stop whining about how he should be fired? K thanks.

And I speak to the ones who are so overly spoken about it. You know like over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over TIMES INFINITY again.

Quote:Jaguars =Mediocrity. Its a shame. Jacksonville deserves a good team.
If anyone on this board is an expert on the subject of mediocrity, clearly that would be you.

Do the fan base a favor. Pick a New Jersey team to root for.

Your track record, especially of late, has bordered on comical. Suggestions like putting Hurns on the IR a few weeks back because of a mild concussion wouldn't be missed one bit.

Not defending Gus here. Just pointing out how tired your schtick has become. Khan has clearly decided to live up to his commitment of 4 years to build a winning team. If it's more of the same misery next year, Gus and Dave will more than likely pay the price. Gus for sure.

My favorite point of view in this thread.... If you are not incensed that Bradley is returning next year, you are a blind supporter of his.

Is it not acceptable that some of us are willing to give him one more year, even if we do feel he is in over his head?

It is obvious that he has some decision making deficiencies, but he has been hampered nearly as much with talent deficiencies.

At this point there really is no point in arguing. He is here for the time being. All we can do as fans is hope the best for our Jags.

That kind of attitude won't be tolerated. Either pick up a pitchfork/torch, or declare yourself a Gus homer. There is no in between.

Quote:ok winnig is your criteria. ok

was it gus who threw the pick six that cost us the Panther game? thats 1 win taken away by a players mistake No it was Gus who coached the QB into making risky throws.

was it gus who missed 2 fieldgoals to beat the clots ? thats 1 more win taken away by players mistakes. No it was Gus who coached us through the game to miss out on multiple opportunities to run up a larger lead where a FG didn't decide the game.

was it gus who hiked the ball 6 ft over bortels head that cost us the game against the jest? 1 more win taken away by player mistakes It was Gus who coached the center who hiked it over Bortles head and who failed to orchestrate a drive to get us out of our own endzone.

so 3 player mistakes cost us 3 wins lets look at what our record would be

we would be lets see ummm

8-7 going into the last game of the season with the division lead and at worst finishing 8-8

so would that be winning enough for your highness to keep gus around i mean it was only 3 mistakes by players gus had no control over ???? i know looking back is dumb but i was just curious would you still be calling for his head if this happend ??
whenever a single screw-up costs a team the game it's usually too close and that is the coach's responsibility. You don't see those kinds of problems in New England.

Gruden coaches to his players strengths.

What strengths? Do you really think we were underutilizing Branch and Clemons? Jared Odrick is our sack leader with 5 sacks on the year...and he's not even a pass rusher!

Not necessarily. However when a " fan" states they wouldn't buy a ticket until they had it their way, such as coaching changes, QB changes, etc speaks volumes about that individual.

You know, it's my ball and I'm QB or going home.

Most out of town fans would love attending live. Some wouldn't because they hate the coach.

We've hosted out of town fans as far away as Britain and Canada.

If they didn't want to go because of the coach , well...stay on the couch.

Having one of the best QBs in the history of the game sure smooths over a lot of coaching deficiencies. Otherwise, Belichick would be polishing his rings from all those titles....in Cleveland or New Jersey.

Shad Khan is stupid.

Anyway, for those who agree on keeping Bradley... enjoy another year of mediocrity, you deserve it.
