Babich blames defensive woes on communication issues with the team

He's wondering how he has to walk the Teal Plank but the guy who hired him is safe

Quote:Will Gus have the cahones to fire Babich? Pretty sure he has to at this point
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:"To have communication problems right now, that's a problem that I take full responsibility for," Babich admitted. "As a coordinator, I need to make sure that we have the proper language, the proper channels to do it and that everybody is doing it. Any communication at any time that breaks down is a bad thing. When everybody is not on the same page is when you don't play as a unit and that's when big plays happens. I take full responsibility for that." I think basically it means he admits he's done a piss poor job at implementing Bradleys defense. Communication errors this late in the season means it hasn't been taught by the coaches well enough. Would explain how the players just stand in their zone no matter where the receivers are. We had to wait until week 17 to read some accountability from the coaching staff. Atleast we got it.

I was going to say he reminds me of the gas station attendant down the street which would be ok if his job was to stuff lotto cards in a machine and not have to out scheme NFL offenses.
Quote:He's wondering how he has to walk the Teal Plank but the guy who hired him is safeThis and the fact is he is running his defense and is wondering how he is safe when his defense has been the major issue all year. Either way 2016 spells doom because we are surely promoting within, more of the same. No smart DC will come on a 1 year for a 12-36 lame duck. We show less advertisements to registered users. I have total faith in our players coming out and playing with effort and energy." Welp
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
