I guess it depends because I made a similar bet in vegas and the games were exactly 5.5. However in order for me to win the wager I needed 1 full game over 5.5. Since that isnt possible the Jags needed to win 7 games.

I never said Gus was a great coach. I think he is a coach that motivates his players and they play their best for him. Often times, their best is not good enough because their best is not as good as other talent. With that said, I want(ed) Gus to stick around because of the progress that was made this year offensively. Over the last several years our offense has been a dud. Now it's MUCH improved. Why do we blame coaching for bad but not recognize them when things are good?


I still believe that losing Gus would hurt the team and the progress. But, like many, losing is frustrating and if taking a hit to the coaching might propel us to win more games in the future than I'm all for it. A necessary evil if you will. I'm on the fence with it now because the season is over and we still have a mediocre team.

 

What mediocre team are you referring to? The Jets, the Bills, the Chiefs? The Jaguars are an awful team sir. Calling them mediocre is an insult to the mediocre teams.

But I never said you thought Bradley was a great coach.  I just said you made a thread defending Gus...  That is a huge difference....  We have 2 completely different thoughts on Bradley.  

 

You think continuity is important.  I think a bad coach hurts the culture of the entire team...  

 

At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter.  We're both fans of this team, just with different opinions.  I just want us to win as soon as possible.

 

I'm gonna apologize for being antagonistic.  You and I just have a major difference in our thoughts regarding how this team is gonna be good again.  It just doesn't mean that we should be yelling at eachother.
