With the fifth pick in the 2016 NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select...

Quote:Don't be surprised if the pick is Andrew Billings, he looks to be as dominant and athletic as Aaron Donald was coming out of Pitt.

I've not really watched Billings much (as I don't perceive it as a big need for the Jags), but did watch Donald at Pitt. From a few yt clips/highlights of Billings, he's far from the type of player that Donald is/was. Not saying he's not as good (as I've said, not evaluated him much), but from build and style, I don't think the two are alike.

Donald is just crazy explosive at DT, which is what makes him special.

I don't see that out of Billings...at all. He seems more of a power guy to me.

my only problem with him is lack of INTs.

Any chance Henry falls into RD 2 (I really don't know)?

If he is not projected to go early-mid 1st RD, it's possible that Tenn would draft him at the top of RD 2, and using the 1st pick on a stud defensive player (Bosa for example).

That would be a terrific early part to the draft for them.

Purely as a corner I think this is very possible. For the Jags it's still Ramsey at FS as top option though.

Quote:Thats not true at all, there are plenty of teams that trade up in the top 10 for other positions besides QB

Yes QB you can get the biggest haul, but teams trade up for other players

Julio Jones and Sammy Watkins to name a few
I was saying that for this draft specifically. There aren't any players that will garner major trade up interest outside of possibly the QBs.

Since Bosa and Ramsay will be taken, the pick is MacKenzie Alexander from Clemson.

Hard to get INTs when teams aren't throwing at you. They almost exclusively went Cordrea Tankersly's way this year when they threw to the outside

But that's not a problem for Ramsey?

After watching Sergio Brown fall down while a Texan player was running towards him, I'm leaning towards Ramsey. Id love Tunsil to fall but he won't. He has neutralized Miles Garrett and also Ogbah. Ogbah was also held relatively in check by Olé Miss' RT as well, who may not even be drafted. Right now if we don't take Ramsey I think it's going to be either Nkemdichie or some other DT. I think we end up trading back though. Someone is going to want to trade up for Lynch or Goff. Which would be the best scenerio

i don't have much confidence in anything Caldwell does, so we may as well just draft Ramsey.

he has potential to be the gamebreaking FS that we need and one of the best in the L

A guy who can cover TEs and the slot as well as play centerfield

Same here this is why I like, CBs VH3 and Desmond king over CBs Alexander, and White from LSU, those two guys Hargreaves and King are playmakers gets INTs something our DBs lacks

Ramsey I like him purely as a FS not CB

I still want Hargreaves and a FS in free agency.   Would be happy with Bosa or Ramsey also though

Bosa would be too good to be true. Draft him and sign Olivier Vernon and you could run this lineup in spurts.

LEO - Vernon

DT - Odrik

DT - Marks

DE - Bosa

WLB - Telvin

MLB - Poz

OTTO - Fowler

My dear God.....

If this happens. Almost like when no one thought Leonard Williams was gonna fall.

Bosa and Marks would DESTROY people. Letting Fowler run free.

Wonder if DC would be willing to trade up with San Diego for Bosa if he is there??

SD is keeping there coaching staff in place and they run a 3-4, I dont think Bosa fits a 3-4 we see what happened to Clowney getting forced to play in a 3-4

I could see him falling to 5

Tenn had a good pass defense, should be trying to protect MM, Browns who knows gotta see who there coaching staff is but they need a QB, SD I dont think he fits, and Dallas has to get a QB.
