Flex Trouble

#1

I have my lineup set this week except for one of my two flex positions.  Should I start MJD or Josh Gordon?  It's a PPR league and they're projected to get about the same number of points.  I have a feeling MJD's due for a good week but Gordon's explosive and it's hard to sit him on the bench.

I'm currently 6-5 and in 5th place and need to win one out of the next two weeks to clinch a playoff spot.  Thanks!

MJD will continue to get low yards, but is always a threat to score.  Houston's going to stop the run, and make us beat them with Chad.

Cleveland will shut down Antonio Brown, and probably prevent the Steelers from making it a shootout.  Plus, Jason Campbell (who I like, but is newish to the team).

I'd go with Maurice.

When in doubt go with the RB.

I see MJD scoring 13 points... Gordon might get you even more if you're willing to risk it.

Both had outstanding days, but hope you picked Josh.

Good news bad news. I played MJD and he scored a lot of points for me but Gordon lit it up. My huge mistake though was benching Gordon in favor of Hakeem Nicks. He was a late scratch and netted me a big goose egg. I'm done with Nicks - never playing him again. I have excellent receivers too and why I bother with Nicks is sheer stupidity on my part. In addition to Gordon, I have Jordy Nelson, Demaryius Thomas, Percy Harvin and Dwayne Bowe. I just thought Nicks would light up the porous Dallas 'D' but that obviously never materialized. Won't make that mistake again. I might even cut Nicks and just be done with him.

Luckily, I still won this week to get to 7-5 and I'm actually in decent shape to get the 2 seed and bye week for the playoffs if I win next week.

Why do have Dwayne Bowe?

He's on my bench.  As you know, not every player on your team's going to be an All-Pro.  He was a throw-in on a trade I made a few weeks ago.  I gave up Aaron Rodgers (right before his injury) and Deandre Hopkins for Philip Rivers, Demaryius Thomas and Dwayne Bowe.  I was 2-5 at the time and now I'm 7-5 after winning 5 in a row.  Russell Wilson's my starting QB and Rivers is my backup.

I would have released Bowe right away and picked up someone asap. Dude isn't going to do anything for you in that offense. He's being wasted there.

Also I kind of can't believe you played mjd over Gordon lol
