Khan sees the improvement in his bank account. Does he really care about anything else? I dunno, but it seems like he's willing to take the long view on this. Maybe another year doesn't hurt in the 5 year view, but the immediate pain is what bugs all of us.

 

I don't wholeheartedly disagree with this but I think we are already at the tail end of a long-term approach.  To look at this season as a whole and for the result we got in the circumstances we had are a huge failure and missed opportunity!

I do like how 2015 was supposed to be a year that was judged off of results.  Now that has been revised to saying 2016 in going to be judged by results.  Is this the year that they actually stick to those words, or do they go revisionist and say it's really a 5 year plan to finally have a good year.

I agree about the missed opportoonie, but I think Khan is playing a 10 year game not a 3 year one. As long as the bank balance goes up there's no real impetus for him to change much in the near term.
