Goodbye Denard

Really difficult to judge any of our RB's( other than Gerhart, that guy sucks bad ) with the inept play of the interior line. They simply create zero push or lanes for the guys to hit.

edit, I will concede it is time for Denard. He is just not getting it done. Shame, I liked the dudes chances.

I agree the Oline is bad, really bad in the run. It's just the fumbles that pushed me over the edge on Denard.

From a pure runner, Denard has a chance. Gotta fix that ball security though

Say it ain't so, Shoelace.

There is a chance he's back next year as the third string rb... I'm not blowing out the eternal flame yet...

Quote:Gray is the safest running back on the roster behind TJ Yeldon in my opinion. He played with so much fire, it was awesome. He was the only one on the field matching Houston's fire

Totally agree....Gray looks and runs hard and fast  like a running back.

After I went out of my way to defend that guy when people were "blowing his fumbles out of proportion"

he goes and fumbles like 4 times in 2 games.....

smh...

bye felicia

Caldwell was gonna terminate his contract by phone yesterday, but Denard dropped the call.
Only a chump boos the home team!

I was as big a Shoelace fan as there was -- he was one of my favorite Jags (and I still really LIKE the guy, in terms of his personality and work ethic and all).  But I simply cannot defend him anymore.  I do think he's an elite athlete, and I think his issues are maybe MENTAL? . . . but it really doesn't matter at this point.  You simply can't rely on the guy.

8 career fumbles in 222 attempts.

That's a fumble every 27-28 carries.

That's brutal

I gotta a name for you Denard - "Fumbler".  Cut this guy and let him be the other team's fumbler.

Man, you guys are harsh...

I hope he's given a chance to compete in training camp.

Well above the rate for the worst fumblers in NFL history. Dropping easy passes is almost as big of an issue. He's a decent runner, although not a natural running back... But you just can't see the field if you can't correct those issues.

Pretty sure Trent Richardson was worse.
