Bob Babich Fired

Quote:Raheem Morris is a very intriguing option who very well might should be able to meld minds with Gus regarding our scheme. We could start calling them Fudge Royal. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

Quote:Seems to me that Gus's guys have sucked (Babich and Fisch) while Caldwells guys (Olsen, Marrone Hackett) seem to be doing quite well. Olsen, Marrone, and Hacket are all Gus guys. Gus knew Olsen from TB, Marrone interviewed with him (read past articles detailing how the process went with Marrone just having conversation with Gus, then got enticed to join staff), and then Marrone brought Hackett with him.
Quote:I'm not sure who this person is, but came across this post on Big Cat Country back in 2013. Sad to reflect on now... Thanks for this, rpr. Now that babich is gone, if we continue with this same type of garbage scheme and game planning, we'll know that babich was just following orders of the head coach. I hope the next dc is smart enough to figure out how to adjust a defence when the original plan stops working.

You would think more coaches on that side of the ball would of been canned.
Quote:You would think more coaches on that side of the ball would of been canned. I assume it's going to be exactly like last season. Bring in the coordinator and let them make the decision on the position coaches. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Let me guess.. Babich is lactose intolerant.. Time to switch to new comedy writers. Old act gone stale.
The sun's not yellow, it's chicken.
Quote:Time to switch to new comedy writers. Old act gone stale. Ahhhh don't tell them that their lactose jokes are stale, they might start with yogurt jokes. ![]() Quote:Time to switch to new comedy writers. Old act gone stale.I didn't open it, is it an ice cream thing? -____- Quote:Possible DCs?Wilks isn't going anywhere. He's probably moved to DC in Carolina after McDermott is hired as a head coach. Even if he's not, he's an assistant head coach, and the Panthers would probably block his move. Thomas maybe. He's been in the league forever, he's a Hall of Famer, he was the interim HC of the Falcons, but would he want to start over on a "built" team when the Chiefs are knocking on the door? Brian Kelly...lol Tim Lewis has been an ok coordinator throughout his career. We could do worse. Al Groh is a straight up 3-4 guy who wouldn't mesh well with Gus' scheme. Quote:Raheem Morris is a very intriguing option who very well might should be able to meld minds with Gus regarding our scheme.I'd almost rather we bring in someone who isn't indoctrinated in whatever the Tampa Two has evolved into under Carroll and Bradley. I think the defense, as it exists, is too predictable and too well-known in the NFL, and we need a guy who'll introduce some new wrinkles to it. That said, I kind of expect Bradley to promote from within so he keeps his scheme more or less untouched. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Time to switch to new comedy writers. Old act gone stale. Babich requested sherbet at end of tinhorn game. Can confirm, Bradley saw that as the last straw. Bradley refuses to serve any thing fruity, concerned it might make the players soft.
Quote:You would think more coaches on that side of the ball would of been canned. Maybe they're waiting to see what the new DC thinks?
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
