Love this one. Speed speed and more speed. Pass rush, record setting RB to join Yeldon, Dural as a possible field stretcher, and the top shutdown corner in college. Can't ask for too much more. Combine with a solid FA period and we're on our way.

Was that lb from tenn avail where you took Dural? Maybin. If so, I'd have taken him there but that's a slam dunk draft.

Did this earlier today:

1. Joey Bosa- future Leo

2. Darron Lee- athletic outside linebacker from Ohio State.

3. Tyler Matakevich- another linebacker. Tackling machine and great leader from Temple.

4. Vernon Butler-  upgrade the defensive tackle rotation. Looked great in bowl game.

5. Roberto Aguayo- no more worrying about extra point attempts.

6. James Conner- big back and good complementary back with Yeldon.

6. Antonio Morrison- middle linebacker to possibly inherit Poz' spot in a few years.

7. Cyrus Jones- cornerback competition and great punt returner.

Prior to the draft, the Jags address the following positions:

1. Center- Alex Mack comes here a year later than hoped for, but still one of top centers in league.

2. Tight end: Dwight Allen from Indy replaces Lewis.

3. Free safety- Tashaun Gipson hopefully rebounds from difficult season.

4. Corner- One of the Rams free agents. Trumaine Johnson would be first but Jenkins would be good alternative.

5. Left tackle- Wouldn't break the bank, but still need more depth at this position.

This is my second go at it much better then my first. I think other then not getting Jalen Ramsey. This is me drafting thinking we pick up a good to great CB, FS, Center, and some more veterans pass rush.

8: R1P8

DE JOEY BOSA

OHIO STATE

Couldn't pass up best player in draft, plus would be insane to see what him and fowler could do for our pass rush.

39: R2P8

OLB DARRON LEE

Will play great along side Telvin and Poz

He a good CB and I believe is an upgrade over all of our other CB other then House and Colvin.

103: R4P8

DE CARL NASSIB

A steal in the fourth, Athletic freak it will take some time for him to learn better technique but could sit, learn and at the very least gives us more depth.

My results:

1. DE Joey Bosa, Ohio State ...pass rushers are a good thing

2. OT Jason Spriggs, Indiana ...not sold on Joeckel-Wells combination

3. LB Joshua Perry, Ohio State ...versatile and good speed/size

4. RB Kenneth Dixon, Louisiana Tech ...good rotational back with Yeldon

5. FS/CB Maurice Canady, Virginia ...will be a great free safety transition

6. CB Harlan Miller, Southeastern Louisiana ...provide CB depth/competition

6. OC Evan Boehm, Missouri ...experienced center with good size and feet

7. LB Terrance Smith, Florida State ...good developmental and depth

Free Agency, we would grab a FS, CB, and DE.

With the following draft, the OL should be fixed, and we will have our future LB core. Scooby and Fackrell can play inside and outside as well as rush the passer. We could add another DT to help with Marks, and some late developmental players for the DE spots.

This is a realistic pick.

I'm curious to know how many folks would be on board with this?

LT has probably been just as tough as replacing RDE for us.  Many bodies, little contribution - and little consistency when the play was even close to adequate.

Personally I'm all in with this pick unless somehow the other LT slips and is the pick instead.  There isn't likely an answer in FA there, so I don't see why not.

I have also heard about the possibility of Cann going to center. If this does happen, Jaguars would be able to throw more money at one of the other top prospects by "saving" $10 million by not signing Mack. This will be one of the toughest decisions he will have. If it enables them to sign Jenkins, Vernon or Irvin then it would probably worth the gamble. Tretola would be a solid pick in the 3rd to take Cann's spot since Beadles should be cut.
