There were instances where he ran out of a clean pocket. But they were positive plays so that's good.

Right, he hasn't played a phenomenal half, but he's done pretty well against stiff competition. I love his release.

Quote:Yup a faster garrard
Ill take a 2007 Garrard over anything we have now. Garrard had a laser arm that year.

But, no. Boyd will be better than Garrard.

I'll tell you what, that Franklin kid from Missouri is a hell of a QB in his own right.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

Garrard's deepball accuracy left much to be desired.

And Boyd's downfield accuracy may be his biggest strength.

Garards short and intermediate passes are much better than Boyds

definitely not in college. I think that was developed over time.

Are they really?

Serious question. I was really young back when Garrard was in his heyday, I always thought he was more of a WC guy.

Agreed. Still have no idea what that FSU performance was. Killed his draft status. He's got the build and athleticism of Garrard, but with the addition of good downfield accuracy and touch.

Yup, Boyds quick release is why their offense is successful.

Exactly. If he becomes a more serious prospect, I'm gonna have to do a lot more work on him to see if he's inconsistent habitually or if FSU was a one time deal. Cause he's usually clutch (thinking back to the LSU bowl game last year).

A bit OT, but Vic Beasley is growing on me.  He has tremendous burst.

Yes it did...two and a half decades ago...

If he falls to our second pick (assuming the first is a QB), I think there's no way he's not the pick. 6'2, 235, 4.47 40. Has excellent inside game for his size.

Absolutely.

Round 1 - Teddy - QB

Round 2 - Beasley - LEO

I'll drink to that..

I really love his toughness. I really do.  Just took a big shot by Clowney and got right back in it. He's been running up the gut all night also.

Say goodbye to Teddy. There's no way he's not the first overall pick.
