Ode to "Let's talk about"

Making Coverage plans / schedule for the Spring. Looks like I'll be working my birthday again.

I blame Rico.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Well it's your fault. You were dum enough to have your birthday on a work day.

I believe it's in the United States and I hear rumors that it is in Colorado.

On the other hand, Bob Denver played Gilligan.

Trek up around the Flat Irons.

Grab a local brew, there's a bunch of good ones.

Visit Boulder and ogle the hippie chicks.

Avoid the "mountain" oysters.

Tell Meaghan I said I'm sorry.

Or send her off trekking while you ogle. Make sure she takes lots of pictures, you wouldn't want to miss that.

When in Denver - I dig the Williams and Graham speakeasy for a cocktail followed by a green chile breakfast skillet the next morning at Sam's no. 3 on Curtis to assist in any hangover symptoms.

Might need a reservation at the speakeasy. High end cocktails and a nice bourbon list.

Also - the Gothic Theater is a cool venue for live music if there's a good band playing while you're there. But it's down in Englewood.

In Denver proper - "Cervantes" is another cool venue that draws some good bands and there's a great gastro-pub near it called Dunbar if you are over in that area. I think it's sort of the "arts district." *edit - just saw that Everyone Orchestra is at Cervantes tonight if you are into the 'jam band' scene at all...

Can't believe oil is at the price it is. Makes sense, but I thought Saudi would cave by now. Doesn't look like they will, so we're at low prices for a while now. Be interesting to see how this shakes out. How's it affecting anyone else? All positive?
