I don't live with my head in the sand, dude. I know all about his Scottish dealings.  It's why so many there already hated the guy. And I didn't "buy into"anything. Ease up on the condescension there bud.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend Trump is a master of foreign policy,because he's not. His strengths oddly happen to be what the biggest problems with our country are right now. 

 

I'm sure if he had a chance to go back, he would change the way he approached things, but he cant. The one thing he does have on his side is time. Time causes people to forget. Once he gets past the GOP Primary, people will forget some of the stuff he said. Time makes people forget.

The reason for the ban is business, not politics. Nobody actually cares about Trump being banned in Britain, certainly not the Brits. They believe he would cause riots in the streets. They said the same about Geert Wilders when they tried to ban him. Then Wilders went over there and nobody cared. If Trump is banned and pulls his business out, Scotland or the locals will be able to repossess the property from him. That is what this is about, and that is why the petition was created. The creator just used standard liberal tactics to inflame the locals to her benefit.

Personally I hope he doesn't settle down. High energy is good energy. On cherrypicking, it is kind of obvious. Find me a candidate that you agree with 100% on every single issue. You won't find one. Which is why you prioritize your issues and pick the candidate that best aligns with your positions.

That's one of the worst things about Carson: his belief that he is being guided by God.   It makes me wonder if he'll consider anyone's point of view who disagrees with him.  If someone thinks God is telling them what to do, why would they listen to anyone else?
