Realistic Free Agency Targets

#1

Baltimore- CB, Shareece Wright- 5'11" 28 y/o, 5 years pro.

He was a full time starter in SF with good stats. Unsure why he hasn't performed in Baltimore. He could easily replace Gratz.

Arizona-

SS, Rashad Johnson - 5'11" 30 y/o, 8 years pro.

Easily one of the boards most wanted free agent. He'd be an immediate upgrade over Cyp.

LB, Sean Weatherspoon - 6'2", 28 y/o, 6 years pro.

Bring him in for competition with Poz. He was good for Atlanta in his early years. I dont understand the drop off in production?

Cincinnati -

OT, Andre Smith - Jags finally have bookend tackles.

Cleveland -

S, Tashaun Gipson - if Johnson is unavailable id like for us to sign Gipson.

LA Rams -

S, Mark Barron - has not been talked about much, he quietly had a great year for them tallying over 100 tackles. I'd like to see his potential.

DL, Nick Fairley - Simply put we need depth at DL.

DB's, Johnson or Jenkins - I would love for us to be able to get either one of these guys.

Miami -

DE, Oliver Vernon - Many posters have us going after this guy hard, hope he doesn't flame out after arriving.

NY Jets -

DE, Wilkerson M. - Would LOVE to get this guy. High motor, good team player.

NY Giants -

DB, Prince Amukamara - if all else fails he would still be an upgrade.

Oakland -

LB, Aldon Smith - Why not give him a year deal and maybe we could get a true playmaker out of it. Imagine him and fowler together.

I have more but cant think of them at the moment.

Isn't Aldon Smith facing a long suspension?

Edit: in November he was suspended for a year.

It's very likely that injuries,  including a ruptured Achilles Tendon,   are the primary reasons for the decline in production for Sean Weatherspoon.    Being that Weatherspoon will be another year from the time he suffered the Achilles injury,   it's possible he could regain the vast majority of his pre-injury skills.   Yet,  it's probably something no team can truly count on.

Sarcasm, because I know there will be posts in here listing Glenn, Miller, Vernon, basically every big-name free agent in the world.

Hell, there are those on this board who seriously think that Brock Osweiler would come here to back Bortles up.

My current top 4:

- Vernon

- T. Johnson or J. Jenkins

- Osemele

- R. Nelson

An obscure safety for the Rams that someone on this board mentioned the name of, so now everybody thinks he's a great free agent target.

Von Miller is not a realistic FA target. The Broncos likely will do whatever they can to keep him on the roster.

I remember leading up to the draft, many people on the board wanted Prince. He did not turn out to be what they were hoping for.

No doubt about that. Can we have B.J. Raji please?

DEFENSIVE LINE PLEASE!

Where is your proof that Amukamara is bad? In every season he has played he's had at least one INT, and he had 3 in 2014? How many Jags had 3 INT's in 2014? At least look at the stats before you criticize. He may have a few injury issues but its not the end of the world.

Considering the fact he only played 11 games in 2015 he almost preformed as well as Colvin did in 16. So please forgive me if id like to add a #2 corner to go with House and have Colvin in Slot.

As far as your defensive line comment...Yes please give us DL depth.

Peace out, girl scout.

My top 5 realistic list would be:

1) Eric Berry - most likely won't be leaving KC, but it's possible.

2) Oliver Vernon - could fit in well on our line.

3) Tashaun Gipson - could be the ball hawk FS we need in our system.

4) Bruce Irvin - probably won't leave Seattle and if he did, Atlanta most likely his target. But it's a possibility.

5) Cordy Glenn - franchise tagged most likely; but could hit the market.

Von Miller and Josh Norman aren't hitting the market. Wilkerson probably won't either.

GO JAGS!!
