Because then there has to be the next big calculated move and then another and another...you don't think it could get out of hand rather quickly?

Hmm is it good propaganda for the young teens of America to want to play for Harbaugh orrrr does it make him look like the cringey and kinda creepy uncle type? I think the latter.

Recruiting has been out of hand for quite some time now! 40/50/60 year old men drooling over teenagers, sucking up to mom and dad, sending special texts, tweets, emails, etc., etc. You have hundreds of websites and magazines dedicated to posting every move these kids make and what they might be doing next week, month, or year. Then there is the side of recruiting that has really never been seen, but has only gotten worse. The shady side of it where alumni offer up any and everything just so that Mr. Football will go to their school.

 

It has changed so very much in a relatively short period of time when I graduated in 97.
