How many impactful plays can you count that Skuta made??? I dont have many... His position can be upgraded along with Poz!

Though I'd rank House above Telvin.  He quietly starred this season.  Though on a team with our record, it's hard not to only remember the negative plays even for our best players.

If we can get a guy like Irvin this would be ideal. Depth that can actually play. No more Armbristers out there

Skuta was sold to the fanbase as a possible contributor to the pass rush, when he was signed.  Supposedly, he would provide an occasional rush from the OTTO spot and may role up into the LEO role with his rush ability.  Ultimately, he provided little to nothing in the pass rush.

I like House but I would not go that far.  Telvin is a special player.  House will be very good once we get a consistent pass rush and I suppose it's tougher to judge him until we do.  I really, really like him though.

 

As for Skuta, sure he could be upgraded but he'd be pretty far down the list for me.  He's good enough to not need worrying about for a year or two and then he can become depth when his replacement is found.  I'd be more concerned with replacing Poz than I would Skuta.
