Senior Bowl players of special interest

Quote:Noah was tested randomly 5 times while at EKU and passed them all. At this point, it's safe to say that he's checked all the boxes about his ecstasy use. If Ramsey is gone, I wouldn't be mad if Spence was the pick at 5. He's really good. Fowler and Spence would feast.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I'd even go so far as to say take Ramsey if he is there and trade back up to mid first for spence

Quote:I'd even go so far as to say take Ramsey if he is there and trade back up to mid first for spencedo you know how much it would take to move up from our 2nd pick to mid 1st? On a player with red flags at that! No thanks, thats how teams get set back for years

Sorry, but that's what got Gene Smith in trouble. If you value Spence that much you trade down from the #5 pick and pick him, but not at the expense of passing on an objectively top 5 prospect like Bosa or even Ramsey. If this team selected Spence at #5 as it stands they'd be laughed out of the building.

Glenn Gronkowski is playing TE, I how wonder how he has looked at practice?

If you value Spence that much you trade down from the #5 pick and pick him, but not at the expense of passing on an objectively top 5 prospect like Bosa or even Ramsey. What got Gene in trouble was not doing his homework on Blackmon like Tampa did. Spence isn't Blackmon, stop acting like he is. If you trade down to get him later, he won't be there with pass-rush needy teams like Baltimore, Tampa, and NYG in the top 10. The narrative around the kid is already changing and by the time the Combine rolls around, more people are going to be talking about him as a high pick. So yeah, I wouldn't expect much laughter if his name is called at #5. You can let the ghosts of Gene Smith past haunt you into passing up legit talent all you want, I'll take a chance on the kid who's shown that he's changed from the mistakes he made over two years ago. I compare his situation to Randy Gregory from last year. I expect him to be available late 1st, early 2nd.

Quote:No one said anything about Bosa. Stay on topic. My point is if you want a DL at #5, Joey Bosa is the man. There is no reason for someone who likes him to say we should pick Noah Spence.

Shock the world

That's my biggest issue, is that you think he's going in the top ten when there's easily 10 prospects better than him. You don't need to pick him at #5 if you really want him. He's not a top 5 talent and it's not because he isn't good, it's because he isn't better than the potential 5 guys ahead of him.

Quote:Tricky situation ain't it? Either way none of those guys went in the top 10. It's just too much risk for such a high pick.

I am not trying to act like Joey Bosa is on Von Miller's level. |
