This is why I don't understand the commitment to London. We can't increase local revenue while playing an ocean away.

This is a somewhat misleading number. With 10 games a year, every game should be worth 10% of the revenue. That means playing in London is only a 2-3% bump.

Pretty sure you can still maximize the revenue with the opportunities we have to do that locally while still playing in a game in London.  I'm not saying I like them playing in London, but it shouldn't be too hard to understand why they are doing it.

Video rendition of new practice facility and amphitheater looks impressive.  I could definitely see us getting some NFL events here once this is completed, like another Super Bowl or the Draft for instance.

Raising ticket prices is a reality in the NFL, to keep up with the other teams in terms of revenue.  The increase doesn't seem that large.

 

What impresses me, as a Northeast Florida native, is how spectacular these changes to the stadium will be.  It will have a huge impact, I think on the cityscape.

 

The franchise is heading in the right direction. We all know the pressure is on Gus to improve. If he doesn't he's gone.

You completely missed the point and you're still working on the assumption that ticket sales are the only revenue stream which is how you're arriving at the 2.5% number.  Once you realize that the London numbers were held up to TOTAL REVENUE and not just TICKET SALES REVENUE you'll understand that the 2.5% number you keep pushing is way off.  It's not to say that if the game moved back to Jacksonville that the Jags would lose 12.5% of their revenue because the game would provide some level of revenue here as well, but it wouldn't provide 1/10th of total revenue like you suggest.

Actually for most it won't be going up.  Most season ticket holders that renew by the end of February will see no increase.  It was kind of a surprise for me with the way the presentation was going.

You completely missed the point and you're still working on the assumption that ticket sales are the only revenue stream which is how you're arriving at the 2.5% number.  Once you realize that the London numbers were held up to TOTAL REVENUE and not just TICKET SALES REVENUE you'll understand that the 2.5% number you keep pushing is way off.  It's not to say that if the game moved back to Jacksonville that the Jags would lose 12.5% of their revenue because the game would provide some level of revenue here as well, but it wouldn't provide 1/10th of total revenue like you suggest.

 

Ticket sale revenue is great, but one of the better income sources comes from the media broadcasting rights.  Local broadcast revenue is not as impact as what the nation broadcasting rights deals do

Nothing earth shattering that hasn't been discussed or shown before.  They're removing some club seats to have a deck area that has windows behind it to the interior area of the club.  The interior of the club section where the amenities are located will now be able to see out onto the field as well I believe.

I said nothing about tickets. It's just easy to divide up the total revenue into games since there are 10 of them.


I just believe that almost all the other forms of revenue could still be made here in Jacksonville at roughly that 2.5% discount.
